I have scoured the Internet, forums and also r/DestinyTechSupport (I’m posting this here because my attempts are deleted on r/destiny2) for solutions to this damn broccoli error yet nothing fixes it. I experienced it today after 2 hours of game time and now it happens every time I attempt to load into the tower. I’ve updated countless drivers on my PC, activated DeBug mode on my Geforce Dashboard, turned off over clocking (although it was never on) uninstalled/reinstalled on to a different SSD and HDD, converted to every religion on the planet and still nothing fixes the error.
I was suggested solutions on my reddit post https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTechSupport/comments/dg8xk5/error_code_broccoli/ but none of them worked.
This error only occurs with Destiny 2!
Am I alone with this?
Are Bungie actively aware of the issue and doing something about it?
If anyone has solutions that worked for them please don’t hesitate to post them...unless its the Task Manager changing priority thing...stick that on a shovel and fling it like cat shit out of your garden.

I had the same issue. It was my second RTX card failing. On my third now.

Edited by [borat voice] variks nice: 10/12/2019 1:37:54 AMI got a Broccoli error after loading the game, going to the tower, and then sitting around for a minute. What resolved the issue for me was closing Discord, but I did notice about a second of lag, where everything stopped except for audio, but then instead of crashing things went back to normal. Discord isn't configured to use an overlay, but Discord is pretty bad regardless. What I think the source of the issue might be is that I have both a discrete GPU (a GeForce 980 Ti) and an integrated GPU on my CPU (an Intel i9-9900K), and there might be some hitching going on between the two. I couldn't find an option in the Destiny 2 settings to specify which GPU it should be using, but there's probably a setting somewhere else I can use. e: Telling Windows 10 to make destiny2.exe use my discrete GPU just turns my Broccoli error into a crash to desktop.
