I got back into one of the old forums I as apart of as a teen, maybe some of ya were there as well, HackForums, used to be pretty active there, helped a bit of ppl out when I could and started my first hosting company on that site. Fun memories.
But I came across a post where ppl would brag about their dl and upload speeds. The image link was gone, but I remember being pretty happy with my 67mps or so back in 2009 or so.
I decided to test my speed now and I laughed. Speeds are deff getting a lot faster. Cant wait for the next 10 years.
This is on my wifi btw

I have 200mb, thinking of upgrading to 500mb just so I can brag about it online :-p
-
My wifi is 20 mbps and that is the best available

*Laughs in 290mbps*
That actually rarely happens it's more like 150-200mbps
-
Oof, I get 26 mbps on average but on a good day I can possibly get up to 40 mbsp...sucks living in the country....😭
@-@
Lol I peak at 100mbps. Even less so with my VPN. Anyways you know we technically have the tech to go (as far as I know) at least up to 2gbps (1.5tbps if you use fiber) but the infrastructure it would take to implement outweighs the profit.

That is still awesome.. according to my 1-10mbps and crappy ISP
-
I remember being a p2p fiend on 56k Some downloads took over a week.
-
I literally hate you I get 7mbps

The thing is though, it gets to a point where it no longer matters unless you need a constant stable connection.
