My goodbye to Bungie
After a good 10 years, i give up. This game is not going to be fixed, we have issues here that have existed since the launch of D1, the comedy of what bungie is now compared to 9 years ago is an absolute JOKE.
This is my final note to the Destiny community, i love you guys but i cant stand playing this game anymore, all it is is just the constant cycle of Bungie doing nothing while pretending to be the best game dev ever. Im done.

You're not getting downvotes because of Stockholm Syndrome. You're getting downvotes because nobody cares if you quit. I quit play Tetris about 25 years ago but I'm not on their forums crying about it.

Even though at times the servers are nearing full capacity, there seems to be only a handful of people on at a time, if even that. Public events don't really work if there's only about 2 people in a zone at any given time. I gave destiny a break for a couple of months leading up to SK, due to sheer burnout and stale content. Coming back I see that it's more or less the same as when I left, but with shiny new gimmicks. I want to like this game, I really do. That's why I keep coming back. I'm just hoping the 3 man dungeon gives me more reason to play other than slogging through weekly chores to raise my power level. Hopefully they add dungeon armor sets and weapons, but something tells me that might not happen. For me, destiny's highest point was in black armory, aside from the initial forsaken release. I enjoyed the structure and there seemed to be much more to do. You had a reason to clear forges in the hopes of not only getting your God rolled machine gun, sword, or pulse rifle, but actual cosmetics, a cool sparrow, a cool exotic ship, and a few exotics tied only to the forges. And then there was season of the drifter...... 1 step forward, 20 steps back.

9 RepliesI'm probably out after a few raid clears myself... because I already paid. Definitely done with Destiny after this one. No more excuses from them. This is a big step back for them YET AGAIN. It's insanity to think it'll ever change at this point.

Wonderful, hope you have fun elsewhere, meanwhile, ill continue to have Stockholm syndrome (according to you atleast) In my opinion, the game is fun, simple as that, and its clearly not for you, but why feel the need to A. Make the post in the first place when you yourself acknowledge it was going to be an unpopular post as they always are. And B. Reply to a post calling you a narcissist when you called those who would defend bungie and the game they enjoy, citing "name calling solves this" (words to that effect which you have also deleted at the time of writing this). Hypocrisy? If you don't like the game, just go, no need write a post or anything, as you know, no one cares about these posts and nothing good ever great comes of these. Instead of citing a problem, you became the problem...

2 RepliesI agree. I played for a week to be able to get into the raid, and I’m already at the point of letting the game down again. Everything is dead boring. Vex invasion is fun the first time, and even so, the boss mechanic is boring. The nightmares are damn lost sectors lmfao! What a joke. NF is always the same. Pointless to farm exotics since they’re all rewarded in the campaign. Prisms or the like shards are also useless for someone like me who has god rolled 1.0 armors, all of them so much better than anything 2.0. In fact logged on yesterday after reset. Played the new NF. 30min run. So boring. No loot. Talk about a looter, and with this MT/finishers centered gameplay, we can’t even talk about a shooter. Not waiting till end of October to play more content. I’m past the light needed to play the raid, so either that will do, or that will be it. There isn’t 500k players on reset day one week into the dlc. Considering that most of them played all along, it’s obvious that the retention rate on free players was close to 0. I believe Bungie should start asking themselves the right questions.
