After a good 10 years, i give up. This game is not going to be fixed, we have issues here that have existed since the launch of D1, the comedy of what bungie is now compared to 9 years ago is an absolute JOKE.
This is my final note to the Destiny community, i love you guys but i cant stand playing this game anymore, all it is is just the constant cycle of Bungie doing nothing while pretending to be the best game dev ever. Im done.
-Metal.
PS, i know this is going to get downvoted into hell because people have stockholme syndrome for this dev so yeah i know whats gonna happen here.
-
see you next DLC who am I kidding, you probably will play today
-
An awful lot of people would disagree with you and say the game is better than it has ever been. Claiming other people stick with the game because of Stockholm Syndrome is disingenuous at best. It sounds like you’re burned out on the game, and thats fine.. (I went through a few bouts myself) Just move on and don’t sh1t on other people that do still enjoy the game!

The quality of Destiny 2 is roughly in line with the quality I would expect of Bungie of olde - very high, or easily the highest in many regards. Destiny evolves, and with evolution comes hangups and disasters and un-cute animals which are unlikely to amass funds for their salvation and etc. Also, your imagining that all other forum people have Stockholme Syndrome - even where that specific mechanic could not ever work in the relationship between a legal entity and a private citizenry - gives me clues as to why you might imagine that there are serious problems with the Destiny series that have not been fixed ever. Perhaps these problems are only problems to a very few, or perhaps there is a collection of unique individuals that by virtue of unusual clarity of mind (or the opposite) create grievances that become impossible to fix since they are not apparent to others and the "fixing" of them would confuse or annoy everyone. I see that you must care very much about Destiny. I also see that you must enjoy playing despite your decision that you do not. I say this - when I do anything and I expect to be annoyed, to be let down and to have trouble finding the good in my activity, that is my experience. When I begin an activity with the knowledge that the mechanics of time and deliberate interaction prevent me from making use of preconception as to whether or not I will be rewarded by the activity, then I tend to have a lot more fun. It's like watching a bad movie in a bad mood... that won't stand. But watching a bad movie in a very good mood - well then you get a cult classic.

OK. Bye!!!

Edited by e92BlMMER: 10/9/2019 6:40:40 PMI feel you OP...I agree 100% with most of the replies on this post..for me its always been PVP activities in order to complete stuff for gear/weapons etc.. I love love destiny since day 1.. but destiny pvp in my eyes its trash trash and I play it to get powerfull engrams and other milestones... then on top everything is a reskin and destiny 1 weapons keep getting locked up and brought back with stupid grindy quest to get them once again... that right there burnt me out

The, Like register isn't working?
-
Guarantee it you be playing when the dungeon is released. But thanks for the extra server spot for the time being.
-
If you really didn't care why make a post in the first place.
-
Nobody CARES about bungie except it seems you. WE care about playing the game. Dont like it, leave and we will be laughing at you as you walk out the door.
-
Im not a "bungie apologist". I can disagree with you with out having "Stockholm syndrome". Games fun for me. Shadowkeep made it better. If you dont like it quit. Its up to you what you do with your free time. But 10 years? Imagine playing a game you dont enjoy for that long lol
-
Feel free to move on. Being critical of others enjoyment from a game is unnecessary.
-
destiny 1 was released 10 years ago??? -blam!- im old
-
See you in a couple days mate!!! :D
-
Lol bye bye
-
See you next week
-
But it's the start of something new ... in year five lol. I'm only playing because a family member bought me the Shadowkeep digital deluxe edition but yeah, I kind of agree with you; the crucible is shit as it's always been but the PvE content is fine. It's not enough for me to actually spend my own money on it but since I own it, I'm gonna play it and hope for the best ... one more time.

Been playing Bungie games for nearly two decades now. They are still living off of a reputation they earnt a decade ago, it diminishes year after year and they seem completely reluctant to do anything about it. This is not the same Bungie that earnt their reputation making halo, it’s a shadow of it’s former self and it makes me sad to watch it fall to pieces.

Awesome game! U will not find better! See u soon mate!)
-
Hopefully ya come back
-
I upvote it because you didn't expect it (but also because I agree with you). Surprise!

Goodbye and Good Luck.

I bid thee farewell O player of video games. I wish you the best of luck in your future game playing

let the haters hate dude. they are nothing more than brown-nosers/ bdr's thinking the world is created for them and them only. thinking they are funny with there bullshit reply's believing they are the top monkey in the monkey tree. people who say this game is great, good for them and i hope they find the pleasure and joy to play whenever they want. they have the right to talk about how they like this game. you have the same right to say you stopped playing bc of how this game is evolving. everyone ther own opinion. i stopped playing bc this game was going from creating something new to repeating the same stuff over and over again. you still shoot the same enemy you did 5 years ago. you still get the same weapons you got 5 years ago. shooting 100 yellow bars was the final nail in the coffin for me to stop playing this game. ( i sometimes helped friends if they needed help in pvp but never played with joy ) as i stated before: destiny gave me memories destiny 2 never did
-
In all fairness the Shadowkeep DLC is pretty terrible... a week in and I’m already bored
-
Well I hope you find luck elsewhere as I have. Destiny 2 has definitely been a roller coaster of bad things so I can understand the frustration. Good luck to ya and don't let these annoying people who cant stand goodbyes get to ya!
