While annoying it can be overcome.
The real issue is the weapon mods for champions that essentially take primary and special exotics out of the mix in order to be efficient against them. Huge oversight

How can you "overcome" certain combinations literally being impossible? Lol... DERP.

What I mean by that is given enough time you’ll be able to get the proper elemental charge for each armor piece to suit your play style. Thought that was obvious.

I do understand. They want you to make choices. Not in love with it but you can get some nice boosts with what’s available. Sure there may be some combos you can’t get but overall I haven’t felt held back yet. And honestly you can get some screwed up builds in crucible mixing yr1 and 2 armor

You can't "overcome" impossibility. I have perk combos ALREADY with 1.0 armor that I can NEVER have with 2.0. A brand new player will never have access to them. 2.0 is sort of an "upgrade" and also a kick in the nuts.
