I recently changed my ISP from a standard coaxial cable connection to a fiber optic one - 200MB/s down and 100 MB/s up. It is incredibly faster, more stable, and reliable.
The thing is, Destiny 2 apparently has some problem with it. Since then I've been getting connection errors and it's been so frustrating. I've been disconnected in the middle of strikes, gambit prime matches, raids, dungeons, etc. I'm always playing normally, no signs of lag, packet loss or anything and I just randomly get a black screen with the error message anteater. Then Destiny tries to reconnect automatically; sometimes it works and I can get back to the match, but sometimes it fails and gives me the error quail. I also got code heron while freeroaming on Earth this morning.
The weird part is that, when I get disconnected from D2 servers, I'm still connected to Discord and the internet is still online. I can watch videos or download stuff at full speed anyway, but D2 servers keeps disconnecting me.
I play other games with no lag, no packet loss and no latency problems. It only happens in Destiny 2. At this time I can't commit to a long match because i'll probably get disconnected sooner or later.
I'm using a wired connection. I've tried forwarding ports UDP 3074 and 3097, didn't work. Also tried resetting my modem, no success. Destiny 2 is allowed on Windows Firewall. My ISP is Vivo Fibra.
I'm running out of options and I can't find a way to contact Bungie to help me on this. Please don't make a copy + paste reply to your Network troubleshooting guide, I've tried everything there and I'm tired of seeing the same reply over and over on other users' threads.
