Is it just me or are people never satisfied, Changes were made deal with it some good some not so good Be constructive not just ranting about systems u don't like, I personally have not done anything to mod my gear yet, but that's because I'm looking for a specific look to my character idk what that look is yet but in the meanwhile I'm storing up my materials for when it comes time to mod i mean if u are already at max light then i get it but then i think only like 4 people are around 960 if anyone should be annoyed its them since they are well into end game and need to do those mods but around soft cap just play the game. I know exactly why the system is the way it is and i don't exactly like it but i get it, the grind to improve gears makes u continue playing if u can get the best armor and mods instantly how much content would there really be you'll be done with it in a matter of hours and bored then your new complaint would be how short the expansion is. I also saw someone say they are sorry for new players , Why its a new experience and they will be better equipt for the end game than we veterans because they are starting fresh and see the gripes of the Veterans and know to save their materials im jealous of them knowing what they are going to run into later vs us dealing wit hit now.

Has it ever occurred to you that players are dissatisfied because Bungie keeps making poor decisions that piss off the playerbase? This whole Armor 2.0 system is a joke. There's nothing about it that screams "improvement". It's just as restrictive (if not more) as it's always been. Anyone with half a brain could see just how bad this new system is from day 1. We don't need to wait and "play the game". It's a problem now, and it needs to change before more people start complaining.

Then Quit the thing has been active for less than 7 days I'm sure they are looking at it and will apply changes when a new title or expansion is launched u cannot have a solid opinion on the system until after the first maintenance to see if they see the things than need fixing, I have yet to disagree with some of the things he is pointing out but still its been 6 days give them the first maintenance see what they do then -blam!- as much as u want then

You just mentioned the main issue that everyone has with this game. "They will make changes when a new expansion or dlc comes out." So we are to spend more money for more mediocre changes that probably won't work, like everything else? That's why this game is a dumpster fire. Also, please start using periods in your sentences. I can't take you serious when you're so illiterate.

So hes complaining that the system isnt as good as it could be and you want to sit there bleeting about how people are never happy? The system needs more work to be much better, hes offering solutions, gotta love the people who try to talk down to those asking for changes that make the game better and then later enjoy the changes that were made haha, we had the same sort of people like you who sat there and said we didnt need a transmog system as well...

I am not defending Bungie i have just been playing games for quite some time now and i know there was no way they were gonna go oh its launch day ppl don't like this system lets scrap it and start over it all happened after the first maintenance IN EVERY GAME EVER the first maintenance is when u realize if they care or not they have the benefit of the doubt until they had their first opportunity to make adjustments, and lastly i see nothing wrong with the new armor system its taking a bit of getting used to but with time im sure i can get it to work the way i want it is not my focus now especially since im constantly getting upgraded gear and im changed pieces every few hours thats why it makes 0 sense to try mod stuff till you're actually at the end game cause you will be wasting more mats on incremental upgrades thats the biggest grip i see ppl are not planning how to upgrade. but i do see it as a downside if the moment someone doesn't like something it has to all be clanged and revamped. i see the complaints but there are more ppl enjoying this new system than the ones who hate it which is why i said let us wait till after the first maintenance before u try to crucify them

Ok clearly you didnt read the first part of the ops thread. I (and him) are talking about the decision to lock mods such as unflinching sniper, hand cannon targeting and all the others behind specific elemental mods. If you get an amazingly rolled piece such as one that has intellect and discipline but the armor is locked to solar for example you cannot pair it with hand cannon targeting - making the armor piece useless if you prefer to use hand cannons...

And this is where i will point this out gear can randomly roll and any of the elements its designed so u can farm out what u are looking for i have had the exact same piece of gear drop with 2 different elements meaning there is a chance than u can get the gear to roll with 1 of the 3 now that's the part i dislike where u are more dependent on rng but it does not make it impossible for u to make your build the way u want it just may take time and luck, but i also understand why they made it that way , they are pushing the make the game more like an mmorpg and until people realize the direction they are aiming for the more likely there will be people who dislike the system. Personally i am not a huge fan of it but i can function and play the game the way i want too, i'll say this one last time. Wait until maintenance and see what they do.

Firstly just because you can get more rolls until you find other elements on things doesnt mean those other rolls with have the same stat values you want. It makes something unnecessarily grindy for no reason. Secondly if you yourself dislike it why are you trying to shut op down with comments like those that you made? Thirdly maintenance won't do anything if bungie dont know what issues we have with the features, posts like this only help that

Grind is NOT content. Grind simulates content by wasting my time. That's why I didn't buy anymore expansions and play only the free stuff that's fun. Grinding for "builds" will be ultimately useless and no fun. Doing a raid is fun or having interesting strikes is fun. Omnigul (D1Y2 NF) with ARC burn is not fun. Likewise Barrier & Unstopable are not fun, if mods just neutralize them.

Cool you can always find a new game to play, the point is it is next to impossible for them to satisfy everyone you may not like the way things are now but it is a considerable improvement to some of the bad systems we had before the expansion just launched they will make tweaks complaining on day 7 about something u do not like is completely acceptable but if it bothers u that badly just uninstall and find something more to your liking, good luck and i hope u find what u are looking for

Bah. Bungie is just out of ideas and some I wrote in early 2015 about they needed four years to implement. Now they try to implement an MMO. New idea? smh

My only complaint is the server instability i keep getting booted with that centipede error but as i been looking through the forums its not just me its tons of ppl that's something that needs to be fixed not the new systems all the new systems are is something to get accustomed to.

People are never satisfied...and many of them are simply lazy...others greedy. This system is how Bungie exercises some measure of control over what mod [b]combinations[/b] are allowed.
