Agreed. There was no need to remove the damage resistance from mw armor, especially seeing the costs now. The energy and stat system seems pretty good, but they could have left super regen as it was, including orbs when you consider the ~balance~ to crits. Having mods tied to energy type is more weaponized tedium, as we're used to.
On another note, exotic armor was supposed to have random stat rolls from xur. Lo and behold, nezarec is the same from him as it is in collections. Amazing.

Idk I still get my super when I need it and I’m not exactly focusing int

I don't necessarily disagree, but the damage/buffs/etc that we get from supers should have been turned up to compensate. As it stands now, it doesn't feel balanced properly for the effort it takes to get your super, even in group play.

"weaponized tedium" I'm gonna start saying that.

I did notice this when checking out Xur. I’m saving my most used exotic armor at this point from Y2 — not going to get rid of them. The 20 point difference in stats isn’t worth losing the roll.

Exactly, my y2 stuff looks to be better than what I can pull from collections for how I like to play. Maybe that will change once I get more mods or a better random roll.
