FALSE FLAG BAN

Hi all... I am really at a lost for words as I honestly have nowhere else to turn to to talk about this. After a long long day at work I wanted to just come home and grind dailies on D2... to my surprise I was banned. I have been a day 1 player on the battle.net launcher, preordered the deluxe edition of shadowkeep... spent countless hours and dollars on this game.. for me to be part of a false positive ban wave. I do not know how to get into contact with bungie support over this.. I am legitimately freaking out and feel like crying. I just want bungie to look into my ban. The only thing I can think of that could have set off the false positive ban is my VPN, but then again I never turned it off back when D2 was on battle.net launcher and never had any issues. I never received an email or anything informing me of the ban. I tried tweeting at bungie help but they dont respond there... I just cant believe this happened to me. I have NEVER done anything malicious in D2. No in game exploits or injecting software or ANYTHING. like i said i dont know where to turn to.. i just want someone to help me understand why this happened, how it happened, and what can be done to revert/prevent this....

 • Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific. In short, nothing can be done to revert it, and the only way to prevent it is avoid any of the above. Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://twitter.com/Bungie/status/1179836392953675776 <- Most recent info https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929 https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47715 *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.
