So, I was literally playing PvE the whole day, Prepping my second character for the new Raid, Played 2 games of PvP trying to get powerful gear because I almost got to 925. Literally an hour ago; In my first match of the day with my friends, I saw a guy with gunslinger symbol in his name and that really caught my attention, so while in orbit I asked a friend on how its done and he sent me a youtube video. In the video, he changed his name with his game Closed. I messed up when I changed it while my game was running and for my friends my name kept flickering and glitching around because I added a symbol in my name. We ignored that; but right as we were loading into our second game after 12/12, I got kicked to my homescreen with a notice that I was Banned. Just to be clear, Nor have I ever manipulated anything or used any hacks. On top of that, My PC is brand new which I just got for Destiny so its clean installed. I've been playing since D1 and used to play on PS4. Plus my connection is 100mbps up and down do connection isn't an issue either. I pretty much checked all the ban criteria and don't match a single. I was really looking forward on doing the raid Day 1, This really broke me since I wont be able to do it or anything ever, I'm 99% sure its some glitch that has happened and should not happen ever again. By looking at bungie.net/bans, It looks like its permanent ban. Can someone from Bungie Please get in touch with me and work on this? I really do not wanna lose everything that I've worked for in literally days on moving to pc due to some glitch.. Please get in touch and do not try and use symbols in your names for now.
