Linux Support on Steam
Hello, everyone!
I've been interested in trying out Destiny 2 for a while now.
However, as the title might imply, I'm on Linux.
With the game's launch on Steam, I am hoping to see if Proton will be supported by Bungie, as I've read that there were people that got banned from playing due to their usage of Wine; however, they report that the "game runs well otherwise."
I'd like to hear Bungie's word on this matter and, beyond that, if it would be possible to appeal the ban if it ever happened.

1 ReplyEdited by TuxyDoh: 9/28/2019 4:10:41 PMCurrently windows is the only supported platform and is listed as required. Use of anything else that can be seen as emulation (WINE, Proton, Etc) can cause a ban. Bans do not have an appeal process.
