Modern Warfare Boycott?

Now I’m not the most knowledgeable about this game as I never intended to buy it in the first place, but my understanding is that ps4 will be getting exclusive access to an entire gamemode a year earlier than the other two platforms. That’s frustrating to the those platforms because they’re paying the same amount for the game as ps4 players but are getting less content.
Also, as CoD is an annual release, people are saying that by the time the content is available to all players, a new CoD will already be out and Modern Warfare will be mostly dead.
What do you guys think about this? I don’t really have an opinion because again, I wasn’t buying the game regardless. But those who are, what are your thoughts?

Console exclusivity is such a fail concept straight off the bat. No one is going to purchase a $400 console so they can get access to a gun in destiny or a game mode in MW. It just riles up the fan bases and ends up reducing the amount of sale overall. A waste of money to secure exclusivity as well.

Really don’t care about CoD. My interest died after ghosts. Since then if I’ve bought a game, it’s been cheap. I was sceptical about this years game and now I’m just like; yeah I’ll just stick to my games that I play over here.

Welcome to the plight of all Xbox D1 and D2 players. Console exclusives of mass released games are RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are never going to make people buy a new system just because that system has a couple more things in it than the system that they already own. Wanna make more animosity and hate for no good reason amongst gamers? Do dumb stuff like this. Even when Xbox got things in CoD and PS people had to wait, I felt it was stupid. We all pay the same amount for the same games. Throttling content to one and charging the same amount of money is basically a form of ransom, which is illegal...........

This isn’t a bonus mode for PS4 players. This is a mode that’s been developed for the game, but is being actively withheld for the sake of money. That being said though I think it’s a little ridiculous to boycott Activision specifically when you have other non-Activision games that have these same kinds of exclusivity deals. [spoiler]Edit: Holy shit. I thought this was originally just a single little multiplayer mode, but it turns out it’s the PvE survival mode. How the -blam!- is it ok & allowed to charge your customers full price (or more even for the “deluxe” versions) for an incomplete product. And to top it off you have the balls to add in loot boxes to squeeze even more money from your customers. All this does is tell people that you don’t care about your players, your product, your reputation, your business’s long term viability. All you give a -blam!- about is money & you don’t give a -blam!- how. Maybe some good might come out of it. Maybe this might be for timed exclusives what Battlefront 2 was for loot boxes. Who knows. Rant over.[/spoiler]

I can understand a month for a game set to be worked on for years such as Destiny. However on a game set to be crossplay alone, never mind the fact it's set to be for a year for a series that gets a new entry yearly. It's dumb but then again it's from a dev under Failvisions boot.

It just makes Sony look like gigantic assholes. When Activision was partnered with Xbox we got map packs for a month before Playstation. This year long shit is absolutely insane but made my purchase decision super easy.
