I was really excited to get the Redrix's broadsword. I watched a video and heard that it is only good if you have the Desperado perk on because it shoot so slowly. I didn't expect it to shot as slowly as it does.
I don't really understand why they decided to make it so that once you have gotten the weapon, you will be able to get it as a random drop from turning in tokens with random perks on it. One big problem with this is that you won't be able to reaquire it from the collection.
It is a 340 rpm pulse rifle and it only has a magazine capacity of 27.
I really hope that they will increase the fire rate of this weapon and its magazine size, as it is now it is just not good enough for either pve or pvp.
I really hope that they will increase the fire rate of this weapon and its magazine size, as it is now it is just not good enough for either pve or pvp
I swear people don't understand what they have with this weapon. 1. Come next week, this weapon will be a two-burst (to the head) kill in PVP. 2. It is already one of the best legendary pulse rifles in the game. Land your head shots. Get a kill to proc Outlaw. Reload to proc Desperado...and you know have a high-impact pulse rifle that fires like a 540 rpm PR....while doing the damage of a High-impact. It absolutely MELTS enemies in PVE.... ...and as long as you can string together headshot kills and keep Outlaw active....you can keep Desperado going as well. If you don't like the mag size....its a simple solution. SLAP A BACKUP MAG mod in the thing. IIRC, it increases the magazine size to like 33 rounds...and if you can't manage to get a headshot kill in 11 trigger pulls? You need to practice, dude.

It’s good without Desperado if you know how to use it correctly, but with the Perk activated it’s a beast of a weapon

One of the previous twabs mentions that Broadsword should get a buff. The random drops are nice so you can get better perks on it. Most everyone was going for one with arrowhead brake and ricochet rounds.
