Which gen 8 pokemon game are you buying?
I hope the lack of a national dex doesn’t deter too many people from buying the game. I don’t really mind it because of how awesome I find most of the new pokemon. That’s why I’m buying it. Mainly Sirfetch’d. Idk what Shield’s exclusives are outside of Zamazenta but I know I’m definitely getting Sword for my leek birb.

1 ReplyNeither. Turns out that besides my sister the casual everyone else I know buys the games in part for the collecting and goal of completing the national dex. The only one out of us who even bothers with the competitive side has blasted the devs for their comments about removing pokemon for the competitive scene (in part putting blame on to him) rather than adding options to allow custom competitions and battle with different rules and ban lists.

4 RepliesDefinitely neither. Pokémon has always been mediocre at best, and with the last two Pokémon games I played, Game Freak went two steps further and made them garbage. Which is a shame, because Pokémon still has some of the best creature design out there.

Sword, but if the probable Shield exclusive evolution is awesome, I might reconsider. I like Zacian more, but Zamazenta has definitely grown on me. I already own the other known exclusive Pokémon, all bred for competitive, and the gym leaders are both ok.

Tbh I lost interest in Pokemon after sun and moon, I played the hell out of alpha Sapphire, I was pretty much addicted to white 2 and idk why but I forgot about Pokemon X
