SCP-OT TALES #1
Reports show that the small town of Isuld has been attacked by some anomaly. Local police have quarantined the area, and called for backup.
Satellite scans show an increase in temperature last night at 11:43. Numerous hot spots appeared and have been identified as molten glass. A larger glass structure has appeared and produces large amounts of radiation every second.
Get down there and contain the anomaly. Lives are at stake.

With him, a satchel containing a handgun, a portable reality anchor, and a few lead panels that can be assembled for a temporary transport. "Let's see... What could be a decent cover story. Undetected uranium vein became active? Yeah, believable enough." Soon the helicopter would drop off some distance from the target meaning the doctor would have to walk the rest of the way.
