Wow, some of the comments are so out in left field. People really don't know how a business model works. They seem more concerned with themselves and what they believe they deserve and then cry about it, or try to rationalize it with numbers. It's really simple, it's your money. Are you entertained for the money put out or not? If no, then it's only up to you to walk away. Not Bungie.
They do o.k. with money, trust me. 5 chimpanzees could be the only player base left for 2 years and the game maintenance will still be funded.
If you want to be a successful business you should always have money to cover the unforseen.
They are needing whatever they like, we are the guinea pigs, let's be realistic. The only time they will ever do exactly what the common player, or diehard player on these forums wants to the letter, is if they deem the player population is too small and there will be nobody left to buy the product. They will continue to do what they feel is the right move with time and money in mind.

You are so wrong. Make a good game you get money. They did not and are scheming all the time to trick people to give more money

If people don't like the game or what they get for their money nobody is forcing them to buy the next dlc. Nobody is forcing them to play either. We can give them criticism on the price or gameplay all we want, and they will do what they want. I'm mostly pointing out the same ol' people who come on the forums and sound entitled when in reality it's " entertainment" that we are paying for. If we aren't entertained enough then it's up to us to leave our opinions and move on.

Edited by BegFourMercy: 9/21/2019 4:09:55 PM14 million decided that what they paid for is bad. Not a good model. Ftp games are doing way better. Why, they are fun and the publishers are not lieing to them all the time. They do not keep taking away fun items. Blizzard told them this when consulted. Yet they continue to devalue your time and fun.

Oh I'm not saying there aren't bad parts to this game. I agree there are some terrible spots. Osiris dlc. Music good, art good, story length and gear, not good. Dry spell after launch, which was lengthy. Not properly testing things before releasing them, supers, weapons and other UI features that rightfully deserved criticism. I have other things that I particularly don't like about the game, and I won't list them all, but there are a ton of things I do enjoy. People tend to focus on the negative, especially when it suits their needs. I was just stating that it's our money and our choice if we wish to continue playing. Nobody is being forced to play. And not always do we get what we expect in life, it's only because this is a forum for the game itself that it's focused on here. Still, I spend my money on what I want to spend it on.

Be careful what you wish for, it will haunt you down the road
