So, I've recently upgraded my graphics card to a RX 580 8gb (from a GTX 1050 2gb) and I didn't notice any change at all, my fps even got worse.
It's unplayable in the Crucible, Gambit, etc, the only place I get higher FPS sometimes is in raids or small places or staring against a wall. I get very unstable 60fps, constantly dropping to the 40s and rarely going up to 70. (I play on the lowest settings)
Drivers are up to date, temps are fine.
PC Specs:
Ryzen 3 2200g @ 3.5GHz
RX 580 8gb Sapphire Pulse OC Edition
G.skill Sniper X 16 (8x2) GB DDR4 @ 3000MHz
Corsair VS550 550W PSU
I should be getting higher FPS, as I've seen people with worse rigs get a better performance than I do at higher game settings. Am I doing something wrong? Is the game broken? With Shadowkeep approaching this is really annoying...
In the link annexed (credit to Timo_Tech) is a benchmark with a slower CPU and the 4gb version of my card. Destiny 2 is benchmarked at 4:37.

Edited by Golden: 9/20/2019 7:19:03 AMDid you change the Mobo or update so it would work well the newer Radeon Card? Also try older card drivers for AMD. Newer drivers and lower end Graphics cards is a big no no apparently. Less FPS And shittier performance.

if you play on low your CPU is going to handle more then your GPU, i would recommend upping to med.
