Okay. Tinfoil hat time. These new “artifacts” and the new mod system look interesting and seem to make the RPG elements a little deeper. There was mention in the vidoc that they are needed to complete the most challenging content. I have questions about how they work from anyone in the community and theories about their impact to the game: Do they reset every season? Kind of like clan banners that you unlock perks on. Those reset every season. Are they going to be a potential rift in the community as far as requirements go? It used to be “ must have Gjallarhorn” which then evolved to must be this light level then “ know what to do, with this many clears and this piece of gear and so on”. If these artifacts make doing these harder events possible then are they going to become a community requirement on top of everything else? I could be just seeing the worst to come of it but I see the potential of it as well. We’ll have to see how it pans out.
