I'm pretty sure they mentioned before the vidoc that the artifacts will unlock upgrades from regular play and earning XP and they will reset ever season.

Ya they did which is why I’m so confused why this ViDoc was created. I’m still preordering and I’m not disappointed I just don’t see the point
