I like to not only play the game the way I want, but I also like to play the game at my leisure which the new direction for Destiny doesn’t allow me to do with their Battle Pass and Seasonal Content System that Weaponizes FOMO by Time Gating everything. Hey, necrogen, Bungie’s lapdog, if we have more player choice, Then why can we not customise the sub classes any more unlike destiny one? They can easily let us mix-and-match subclass nodes, which seem to be designed that way, but they’re not allowing us to do it likely because they are too lazy to balance the combination of the subclass nodes. So, no, players do not decide the direction of the game. That is a boldfaced lie. bungie has always and will always be the sole decider of where the game heads to next, and where they are headed is simply the bottom of the ocean with the sinking ship that is destiny 2 helmed by Luke Smith.

I have been playing a lot of D1 over the past couple of weeks, did you look that up too? It is a better and more solid game in every single way. Listen, I don’t hate the game. I just hate Bungie’s leadership and the crap-ass rookie decisions that they have made. The employees at Bungie do exceptional work, but they are being hindered by the likes of a glorified game blogger (Luke Smith) who has no business being in a leadership role and fellow company. This game could have been so much more than it has been. I’ve had fun at times and met some great people, but there is literally one person that still plays this game on my friends list and another that hops on periodically. Bungie’s leadership drove the masses away from this community. They were the core players and had Bungie made better decisions and treated the player base better they wouldn’t be giving the game away for free right now to boost numbers.

The player base continues to drop. You will see an uptick now that it’s FTP, but they’ve made a lot of people feel unappreciated and taken for granted.
