But I can kinda see why they wouldn't do it, at least not at this time.
With its super regen perk being untouched and every other source for super energy being heavily nerfed, thundercrash will have a far better place in the sandbox due to that perk alone.
But this does not mean I think it's going to be any good in its current state outside of spamming the super.
I want a better neutral game for it so that using it in pve doesn't feel so unbelievably terrible without skullfort.
I'm so sick of wearing that same damn helmet just so I can make it valuable.
It needs to have a way to regenerate it's melee on its own bungie.
Without exotics to bring the skill tree up, even it's super regen perk has PROVEN to be lacking in value because it takes far too long to get it to regenerate on its own.
I'm probably one of the few people who actually uses cool down mods for melee and grenade, but it still feels like it takes too long.
Imagine for the players who DON'T use the mods but still want to use thundercrash.
No skullfort, no use.
And don't even get me started on the supers damage.
Sentinel can do double it's damage, charge just as fast due to doomfang and kill two to three times the ads easily.
It can also grant you a superior neutral game and soon to be bubble buddy damage boost.
Or middle tree sentinel in general.
It's damage could use at least around a 40-50% buff.
I understand the faster recharge should affect the damage output it has to some degree, but so many supers do everything better especially when you really need a good high damage super immediately.
It's lack of real damage makes it a joke for all forms of endgame activities, not to mention it puts you into the kill zone of quake if you don't kill the larger targets, which is fairly common.
I can't use it in reckoning without fear of getting knocked off the bridge or smashed by the knights.
Why does the most risky single use super in the game suck so bad?
It being fun because of how you play it doesn't change how boring it is to feel useless.
