The RPM nerf of Luna's Howl and Not Forgotton basicly increased its TTK to that of any other 150 RPM and the Magnificent Howl procc doesnt have any influence on the TTK. But the Nerf to the Magnificent Howl perk was unecessary since it robbed the unique ability of the weapon to shut down roaming supers as primary weapon. The really rare occasional 2 tap was much harder to pull of than 2 tapping with ace + OEM and using Luna and NF in the 1st place was not as easy as spamming recluse after getting a shotgun and than snowballing. It actually required some sort of skill to land ur shots. Which opens the Question why they nerfed the Ttk AND the Magnificent Howl Perk.

Even with this “nerf” you’re mad about, the gun is still the best all around crucible weapon in the game (or at least one of the best). Why should only one primary gun in the game be able to solo shutdown supers? Everyone was pissed when there was a secondary (lord of wolves) that could solo shutdown supers so why want to have another gun that can do it?

It is plenty viable and can still three tap with amazing stability. Stop whining.

I mainly use Luna’s, it’s fine where it is.

Leave it

Edited by Erijian: 9/4/2019 9:22:51 PMThe current Magnificent Howl is actually pretty legit (the constant opening shot with the perk active) but I wouldn't mind if it got some precision bonus damage back to give it PvE viability and super shutdown potential..so long as it can't two tap without other buffs active.

100% Bring its potency back for pve Why was the nerf done anyway? Its would still be a 3 tap, the only change would be in certain instances where someones already weak you hitting 2 crits to finish them would proc mag howl and allow you 3 seconds to get a 2 tap kill on someone else. Which is not a big deal imo, its like kill clip and is a pinnacle gun after all

Edited by Amazinite: 9/4/2019 2:22:01 PMBump. Don’t even have the gun (yet) but I think the nerf to mag howl was pretty stupid. The RPM change is all that was necessary.
