Auto rifles are "beginner" weapons.
Low skill floor and low skill ceiling. If you want to mindlessly spray bullets, great, but they should never be anywhere near top-tier.
A scout rifle buff would be nice. Precision shooting should be rewarded.

As for other options, for PvP Devastator + Wormgod’s Caress/Dunemarchers, Doom Fang Aggressor works with every mode, and PvE Code of the Missile Skullfort.

It was about auto rifles being cheap and easy to use, cheap being the key word here. Your build is cheap. So yes it is about auto rifles, but in that you are pointing a finger at it saying that it is easy to use and cheap. I am saying that you don’t have the authority to go around saying that because you are using a cheap and easy to use build yourself. Need I repeat myself anymore?
