The Road long forgotten....
Saber-2 was now an extremely busy man (Or robot).
First off, killing that beast for.. What was his name? Acro, That was it! Then, it was the four horsemen, and their destruction. Now, the Sheriff turned evil?
It was certain he would hunt the outlaw down, for the smell of profit was alluring to him. Also, he needed the cash. The upkeep of a mechanical body was expensive.
He was packing his bags full of supplies, ammo, and weapons when he heard a familiar voice.
“[i] You don’t see it?[/i]” said the voice.
Saber-2 huffed in annoyance. Ever since he sacrificed his human form to separate himself from the Deep and the Ascendance, the voice haunted him.
“What is it Bob?” snorted Saber-2. That was his nickname for the presence.
“[i]You see it! The four horsemen, the corruption of people? You know what you must do,[/i]” stated Bob.
“Well, I don’t have to,” retorted Saber-2, “So shove off mate!”
“[i] But what if the Deep infects the other timelines? I have been watching the alternate versions of yourself. What were some of their names? Joshua and Naradin? If you reclaim your old power, you can fight against The Deep! Prevent it from spreading! [/i]”
Saber-2 knew Bob was right. It was time. Ever since the Great Offtopic war, he loved his powers of light and dark. That’s why he needed to separate himself from them. They were too addicting.
(But now,) Saber-2 thought, (it’s time to reclaim them).
“Fine, show me the way,” stated Saber-2
A black ball of shadow materialized before him and floated towards its destination. Then Saber-2 followed it.
