The Sentry - A Gambit Prime Idea

For the 15 level of the Sentry aura, it would be more beneficial for a Gambit Prime team if the Sentry's death by an Invader healed the Primeval less. That is, the Sentry should be encouraged to act as a body-shield, rather than a peeky-boi with Sleeper or somesuch. Stronghold blocking can already block a shot from Truth, which doesnt really have a good counter atm, since there's always that follow up. But, that at least takes time off the Invader's clock. Only problem is, the whole team would have been better off without the Sentry standing there sword-blocking. Since Resilience, Mobility, and Recovery really don't do much against Truth, or a hammer Titan super, giving the Sentry the ability to stand against invaders with fewer consequences is a better choice. Given that swords have high efficiency versus the types of enemies Blockers are, this would greatly incentivise Sentries to stand that "goalie" type of position they're meant to. As far as balance, I think Sentry is currently the least functional position in Gambit Prime, with other positions just out-performing it by a lot - i.e. the Sentry's just proccing Umbral Strike while the Reaper is accelerating mote generation - the Collector is improving mote security by just not losing as many - the Invader barely needs any more than the overshield and wallhacks they already have. But Sentry is often lagging. I see how blasting Blockers is more important in Prime than normal Gambit. But does that make collecting Umbral Strike really worthwhile when things like Peregrine Greaves and trench barrel shotguns exist? Sentry is the easiest role for a Prime team to compensate missing. If the Sentry had more utility in the damage phase, though, like the ability to act as a meat-shield, their use to the team would be hugely heightened. Its not that everyone would suddenly start running Sentry either, since the amount of Primeval damage saved could easily be tweaked for the "tipping point" or made such that, multiple Sentry deaths in the same invasion are less efficient at sparing Primeval healing. TL;DR Sentry should have a discount on Primeval healing on death by invader instead of buffing Resilience, Recovery, and Mobility because it would be more useful and yet not imbalanced. Thats just my two cents
