Vent your Destiny related frustration here.
I cannot seem to get Khepri's Sting to drop for me at all, the only exotic I'm missing thus far, and I've been playing a lot.

2 RepliesTheGreatNike, exotics drop weirdly, it actually depends on how much you play. If you play every so often, or not as much, they drop more frequently. If you play a lot, then they won't drop as much.

Returning player Immediately over burdened with quests, cores are very hard to come by. I guess before i took a break i used a shit ton of my shards for something so a total dick move on myself. Now i needa get outbreak prime and i'll be set.

Same with astrocyte verse. I’m not sure the duplicate protection, if there is such a thing, is working. I literally got sun breakers while wearing sun breakers, twice.

Ok let’s start with the so called optional feature on any quest where we practically have no choice and nine times out of ten these quest are not even necessary if would be different if per say that bungie gave us the choice to say yes or no to a quest but we don’t even have that option plus even before you finish the campaign you have two more problems one the crucible and two gambit which have a introductory quest that shouldn’t be there to begin with ...... if you want to entertain that garbage it should be your choice and your choice alone not forced upon you in the form of a Fricking quest. If I had to ask anything of bungie it would be restore xur the agent of nine back to what it was like in D1 I don’t even care if I had to pay silver for a new exotic. It has got so bad in open world/patrol that I’m willing to consider that and last but not least bungie do something with the monitors/ninjas they are not doing their job if they have to ban someone like me of the form for a non offensive post ...... that should cover the nuts and bolts of things I have to say for now

First I was going to say "quest steps that require PVP", but then I realised I don't give a damn any more. Last year's Solstice had me rethink my approach to the game and the Ace of Spades was the last nail in the coffin. So, what frustrates me the most right now is the ever-increasing amount of grind, and I expect it only becomes worse in Shadowkeep.

I’m frustrated that Destiny the franchise hasn’t really improved over time. D1 was the beginning. D2 overall to date seems meh. No real improvement except for the wall grab. Creative development? What’s that? I expected more from Bungie as at one time they were considered the best game Devs in the FPS genre. Nowadays I don’t view Bungie as anything special. They’re just like everyone else. Mediocre.

I need 2 pair of exotic gauntlets for my Hunter that refuse to drop. I have all other exotic armor for all 3 guardian classes.

Dropping Fabled at this point just seems like the most logical choice the developer could make. Allowing ALL players to loot and shoot since that is the premise behind the same. ~signed 3,500 Glory (see Warlock - kinetic)

Depending on several layers of RNG to get the best crucible guns. It took me well over 10 hours in the hollowed lair to get the mindbenders on my warlock which is the best one I have ever gotten and yet is still 2 perks off of being the best you can get. I’ve been doing the dreaming city milestones every week since forsaken and have never gotten even a decent retold or the curated twilight oath. Don’t even get me started on spare rations which took me several 6+ hour reckoning grind sessions just to get one with a range stat over 60 when the range can techinically be over 90 with max range, ricochet rounds, and rangefinder. I did 30 last wish runs and several bridge chest cheeses before I got a snapshot supremacy. I liked grinding for beloved and austringer because the grind was fun and efficient, even though it may have been pretty broken getting at least 4 guaranteed chances at a good roll every 10 minutes of a menagerie run. I liked grinding for blast furnace and kindled orchid and tatara guys because you get a guaranteed drop every 15ish minutes it takes to complete a frame. The same can’t be said for the stuff that I listed above which is really frustrating. I wish bungie would lean more toward grinding methods like menagerie and forges and lean much further away from stuff like reckoning. It doesn’t completely eliminate the grind by giving everyone perfect guns through minimal effort since you still need to actually get a good roll, but at least the RNG of getting the gun in the first place is gone and grinding weapons is something that feels rewarding and worth your time.

I want to get to Legend rank but by the combined power of both my easily-tilted nature and my inability to find teammates that play well enough, I’m eternally stuck at Mythic tier. Highest I’ve been was somewhere between 4600-4700 I think. Now I’m stuck with the choice of playing with teammates that I know will not perform well consistently but will communicate with me, or leaving it to matchmaking to pair me with potentially decent players in consecutive games, which just [b]doesn’t[/b] happen. The more I leave it to matchmaking, the lower my KD goes because of clean sweeps by the enemy, the less opportunities I get to LFG with competent teammates. As I play with other teammates in the playlist, the amount of teammates who have abused matchmaking for wintrading or have paid for acct. recoveries increases, while I’ve only encountered one DDOS’er the entire time. They all readily admit to it when I message them, and what pisses me off isn’t the fact that they didn’t have to stress to get Legend, it’s that they’re so nonchalant about actively cheating the system, because they know there are virtually no repercussions.
