For the last several months, matchmaking in QP has been absolutely horrendous. This entire season, my win rate is hardly 50% because of getting matchmade with players that are barely able to walk around, let alone fight other players. The screenshot is pretty average for how my games go, and I fully admit that I'm not a great player. My accuracy is terrible, and I'm not great at telling where a player is going to pop out from either. That's why its so frustrating that this type of leaderboard situation happens so frequently. It genuinely feels like Bungie is mad at me and is punishing me for something.

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 8/30/2019 2:21:21 AMYou are a self proclaimed not good at PVP player? But you want to have a better than 50% win percentage? You seem to be way ahead of the curve. Usually people that arent skilled cant win a game. What do you want from Bungie, people to carry you to a 75-90% win percentage? You solo too?

As much as I would like to hate on the "potatoes" I am constantly stuck in this zone by having the worst connection possible with this game. I pay an ungodly amount of money a month for 250mbps only to get crapped on by other players in the game from a shotgun or melee attack from 30 yards out. I have to say this game has the worst netcode for pvp and PVE for that matter with all the dropped connections I've seen from a AAA game. Guess that's what happens when Activision squeezes your studio for all the profits it can with zero results.

They want everyone to have a "good time" and "50/50 winrate", so basically it takes someone with a decent score, pair with the potatos that doesn't know what end of the gun makes the loud noises and let you be the nicest and most generous carrier, preferably against a closed group, just to break even. At least is how I feel, so that every other game that I get into a half-decent group with similar KA/D and win by 20 the match is "remade because it was unbalanced" and i'm put in a soon-to-be-mercy-ruled match, just so I don't get confortable. Could just be me though....

I have been having the same issue my friend, so toxic to go into QP alone now which is supposed to be the chill playlist....

One of them was probably a streamer. They have always purposely put streamers against players of MUCH lower skill to make sure that the streamer is having fun and will continue to promote their game. You can either start streaming to get super easy stomp matches, or just be a regular player that they don't care about at all and keep losing. Or just quit.

Edited by Chemical Freak: 8/27/2019 3:58:59 PMThat's basically every match and if you're in the upper tiers of mmr you're out of luck. Bungie has said the matchmaking will change in Shadowkeep but has not mentioned any team balancing changes. I don't think the devs understand that when 4 or 5 bad players get thrown on the same team against a team of all average players, they have a really bad time and end up hating the Crucible.

And bungie and so many others wonder why we want skill based matchmaking for all of crucible. Quickplay competitive iron banner. Because all we want is a fair match up. Win or lose. I've lost matches that were close and I had fun. I've won matches where we stomped the other team and it was boring as hell.

You're not alone.
