Introverts: Not as good as dogs, but much less likely to piss everywhere.

We’re exhausted by them. So we need time alone to recharge ourselves, and be ready to deal with people again. In fact one of the worst things you can do if you live with one of us is to meet us at the door when we come home and immediately want to talk and do the things extroverts find fun and energizing. All you will do is make the introvert angry, frustrated, and feel taken advantage of. Because they ARE being used in a way that doesn’t feel good to them. Give them space. Some time to be alone and unwind...restore their energy level. Then they’re good to go. You care for us by respecting our need for alone time.
