So I bought destiny 2 like many other people and I had big plans I was going to get a good 100 hours out of this game and that would be good, hopefully around 200 while only paying 60$ I was going to do crucible too and play with some friends. In my discord sever with around 100 members I have around 20 who have destiny so not a problem to have fun and get 200 hours out of 60$ a pretty reasonable assumption right no completely -blam!-ing wrong I loaded I up completed the story in around 12 hours got to level 20 before finishing the story so did not rush it. My friends told me oh so much more stuff once you get to the tower I said ok once I got to the tower I did ever mission possible on all the planets and now I'm stuck with nothing to do but strikes and crucible and some of the daily and weekly challenges and that's it. Only 30 hours for 60$ and now I'm left hating myself for wasting 60$ on an incomplete game and the only way to be able to do another thing then crucible strikes and raids is to pay for the DLC coming out in like 3 weeks that will not be free and will cost most likely 20$ for a game I already paid 60$ for I have the money but I want to spend it elsewhere on like a 1969 SS Camero. What I ask is how they got away with this? They got me because I was an idiot and trusted Activision Blizard, after all, they have done so I can only blame myself but I was just expecting more and not what I got which was an incomplete game with DLCs to make it actually playable coming out 2 months after launch that will cost me 10-30$ and will still be more after that. I ask for your opinions and thank you for reading my shitstorm of madness.

Edited by Silverdove: 8/21/2019 1:11:12 PMI agree with you Jay. The way this game spins gameplay out is by not allowing you to get the items you are playing for. Everything ends up running through the crucible. Everything is a long and painful grind making it the most repetitive game i have ever played. It has very little in context for solo players. & weapons need a catalyst from the crucible that never drop weather there is a win or lose. Bungie keep the game runnin by using false positives. Get this from the crucible, sounds great, however two months later not one catalyst. Crucible is the smallest part of destiny 2 yet the most supported with quest steps. I think of it this way, why make game content when all i need to do is give duff info, no info or information that doesn't mean anything. Add to that a huge amount of secrets and secret quests, throw in secrets that no one would ever figure out for months if not years and the games playability is extended without the game makers doing anything. Why is there no option to pull a team for nightfall quests, like other activities. Throw in a load of you need to get 1500 kills with this, 750 multi kills and 350 precision kills and it soon becomes apparent that the grind is painstaking. the last two tricks is put everything behind a jumping puzzle combined with a secret you have no idea is a secret. A game that should last months now drags on and on and on with nothing new. SOLO STUFF, Make crucible about the same weapons instead of pinnacle. It is no joke if s quest step says you need to be equipped with a certain weapon in crucible, yet the rest of the players have one to two shot killing machines. Bungie think they made a great game but they didn't, they made a game that at times is utter frustraightingly bad. I have just started elite horizon in VR and can say now that is an experience and a beautiful crafted game. Which is why i am moving from this utter daft to that Bungie have used every dirty longivityterick in the books. If you have to google and YouTube everything then maybe Bungie need to give better quest information like the way the rest of the games on planet earth do.
