Kinda piggybacking on another thread here, but it would be cool to see an option to rotate shaders when applying them to weapons and armor. In other words, you could rotate between the white, gold, purple, or black on the Calus's Selected shader (vanilla Leviathan raid shader) when applying them to armor pieces. Where on armor it shows the white primarily, you could rotate the shader to show the black aspect of that shader where the white once was. The purple and gold aspects would rotate as well.
This would provide some fun customization and combinations between the many different armor pieces in the game and the many more that will be relevant in Shadowkeep. Also, it would be nice to mass apply shaders to armor if you have more than 5 of a particular shader on you. I watched the 2.0 stream and I'm glad they showed us how meandering it is to apply the same shader on all 5 armor pieces.

That would definitely be cool, but I suspect there are some material-related limitations built in shaders, kinda like "that color with its corresponding texture only goes to metal parts, while that color+texture is only applied to fabric", and if you simply switch them, some things start to look bad or even broken-texture level ugly.

That would be a good idea, so I'm sure it'll never happen.

If we can't make our own shaders then this would be an acceptable alternative.

I just said this same thing in another post and some 6 months ago but as usual it falls on deaf ears
