Nerf Well then superbuff Ward of Dawn? Ok, Bungo...
Well of Radiance, whether we like it or not, was not the problem of PvE difficulty being so easy, it was the catering by Bungie to make most encounters shaped around the use of Well that made it so viable. A nerf is necessary sure, but nothing to destroy it. However, it’s an odd time to show off the new Ward of Dawn buff (Armor of Light, Weapons of Light, and Blessing of Light with Saint 14 equipped) when you just said Well is getting nerfed for supplying the same gameplay experience. That’s a yikes my guy...

1 ReplyWell of Radiance is still better IMO. Bubble is still clunky, where as WoR you just stand there and unleash little movement required. The exotic also makes the Super recharge way faster so you are getting the use of WoR more often.

2 RepliesYou have to step outside of the bubble that's the big difference and that simple window of vulnerability matters to balance. The current WoR doesn't have a weakness like that which is why it's balance breaking

4 RepliesYou can't stand in a bubble to do damage. You have to expose yourself, making the bubble a riskier play over a well of radiance.

Let me be a support by applying burning dots to bosses and using Song of Flame to boost everyone's recovery and ability Regen. Let Titan be for Health and Damage buffs, let Warlock be healer/ debuff. Hunter for crowd control. Boom! Class synergy.
