Edited by Numero Uno: 8/12/2019 8:24:44 AMOn my true and blue play through I sided with the Empire. Hear me out, as a Nord player since Daggerfall, Skyrim felt like a homecoming. Albeit the Civil War questline was weak, I went with the Empire soley based off the fact that Talos himself made the Empire what it was. A true Nord hold's this above all else, in his or her heart they know that Talos is always with them. This fight, brother against brother is simply what the enemy (the Aldmer) want, to weaken us. This is the first of many battles to come, the outcome I chose was to end the civil unrest for the greater one to come. The way I see it is that the Dragonborn being on the Empire's side poses a large threat to the Dominion.
Secretly I wish you could become High King of Skyrim as well but I guess being Thane in every hold is as good as it will ever get. That way you could truly unite Skyrim behind you, almost like the second coming of Talos. With Aela as your wife, you would have some badass kids, little Dova-lycans lmfao.
When the time comes Mother Kyne guides us on our way to our final resting with Shor in Sovngarde, until that fateful day my Dovahkriid will always be coated in the blood of the Empire's enemies.
