I feel obliged to give you guys at Bungies HQ some feedback about The Sweet Business.
I remember before Destiny 2 had been released, it was either a picture or a video which showed us the Sweet Business for the very first time. The hype (for me atleast) about this gun was real. I love the look and the feels it gives you when you're using it. Combined with Actium War Rigs this weapon should go from a bad ass Exotic Weapon to the deadliest fast-firing-beast in the whole god damn game. It should shred any minor enemy in sight and melt any major enemy within a decent range.
When the catalyst was realeased through Faction Rallys I was over the moon believing "this is it, now its happening!"
I choose New Monarchy, the Sweet Business Catalyst over the Graviton Lance Catalyst. Just to make it worse, I used to enjoy pvp at that time, meaning I really wanted that Graviton Lance Catalyst.
Everytime I saw this gun in those earlier days I thought about one thing, and that can be perfectly portrayed in this scene from Terminator 2.

This badass scene is how the gun should feel like.
At this moment and from the very beginning of Destiny 2, the sweet business has been bad if the not the absolute worst Exotic weapon in the whole game.
The gun itself has the perfect look to be a Exotic weapon, even the skins to the Sweet Business looks amazing. Unfortanly, the looks isn't enough to save this gun alone. With the Catalyst inserted, it doesn't make it better than my Masterworked Smugglers Word.
Which means the sweet business is never, ever removed from my vault just for the visuals of it to my fancy Titan of all Titans.
This problem needs to change, the weapon needs to modified to be up-to-date with other Exotic weapons so that we can have some different loadouts in the game.
The most important change this weapon needs is it archetype. The Sweet Business is absolutely NOT an Auto Rifle nor should be classified as one. It needs to be classified as a Machine Gun and a Power Weapon.
Then what Energy type should it be? Solar no doubt.
We got Thunderlord and 21% Delirium as Arc.
Hammedhead and Bane Of Sorrow as Void.
But only Fixed Odds as Solar which is possible to obtain in the game as of this moment.
I know there is a second Solar LMG, but it was only possible to get this during Christmas was it?
I don't remember and I don't have it.
The second change is making it up to par with Thunderlord because that's the only other Exotic Machine Gun we got at the moment.
Thunderlord got the Intrinsic perk Reign Havoc which states getting kills with this weapon generates lightning striking from above. Combined with Lightning Rounds which does the same aslong as you're dealing damage to a target and it increase the rate of fire.
Just to make even better when getting a kill you have Feeding Frenzy which increase your reload speed.
First of all, the intrinsic perk to Sweet Business feels like a waste as the Legendary 21% Delirium got 102 rounds in the chamber without Back Up Mod compared to the Sweet Business 99 rounds.
This doesn't need to be a intrinsic perk at all on this gun.
The intinsic perk should be combined with Business Time and the effect of Auto Loading Link.
Sweet Business Intrinsic perk should be like this:
Picking up ammo reloads your magazine.
Holding down the trigger boosts fire rate and range and it steadily reloads your magazine from the reserves. Leave the magazine capacity at 99 rounds where it is today.
Both range and damage of this gun needs to be adjusted to compete in Machine Gun leage.
To compensate for the AOE effects that you'll find on Thunderlords Reign of Havoc, The Sweet business should get Explosive Rounds and Rampage to bumb up the damage significantly towards minor and major enemies.
Polygonal Rifling and Composite Stock should be changed to increase range and handling.
Leave the stability where it is today as it is perfect.
The Catalyst however, instead of reducing flinching it should provide an increase to Handling and Reload Speed. Mostly reload speed.
Now this all above, is the Sweet Business.
Make is happen Bungie, please.

Move it to heavy, make it solar, and give it a new version of timed payload. The bullets that have been fired stick to the target (walls, floors, or otherwise) and then explode when you release the trigger; empty the gun, release the trigger, bunch of tiny explosions. For balancing reasons, each explosion does, idk, 50% damage the actual timed payload perk does? Since there's like 100 of them? Just my thoughts.
