For the most part, a lot of people play on Windows and I get that. I'm glad you're using something that works for you. I've just switched to Ubuntu 19.04 over some recent developer changes to Windows which has resulted in most of my Windows builds to remain unstable and/or a real pain to use. If anything, could September open up the possibility of Destiny 2 coming to Linux/Mac as this would also open a user-base if Bungie intends to stick with switching to Steam. I get that Battle.net may have had some restrictions on content that was to be posted (it only officially supports Windows), but Steam supports Linux and Mac. I'm personally only asking for Linux, but for the most part Mac would likely work with a few minor changes as well, which could open up an entirely different player-base and increase revenue too..
TL;DR: It's just a thought, but can we actually support Linux and/or Mac with the September release or shortly thereafter now that Destiny is moving to Steam?

I disagree. Actually, I disagree so much that I think Bungie should begin to remove platforms. First Windows, then Xbox, then PS4... And then port the game fully into the Wii. Honestly though, I think your idea is definitely plausible. It would bring some new players into the game, and since Bungie is really going for that play anywhere with anyone idea, I hope this happens. Take my upvote.
