The Chupacabre, name literally translating to “Goat-sucker,” is believed to reside in multiple places within the Americas. The first reported sighting dates back to 1995 in Puerto Rico after livestock, mostly goats, were reported to have been attacked and drained of blood by a mysterious creature. Physical appearances vary greatly, but is more often than not depicted as either a small alien or a canine-like beast. Even though physical evidence often leads to the work of hoaxes or coyotes with mange, some argue that the chupacabra is indeed real.
