I know I'm late to the boat, but I recently fell in love with the Twilight Oath. I have nearly every combination of the Beloved, but I've spent so much time with the Supremacy that I just can't wrap my head around the 90RPM archetype. I was averaging 6-7 sniper kills with the Beloved per match, but that immediately went to 9-10 with my new Twilight. I went into the Menagerie and got this roll:
Hammer Forged
Flared Magwell
Opening Shot
Boxed Breathing
Range Masterwork
Here are my questions for all of you. Is it worth going for the curated TO with snapshot? As a console player, how important is range on a sniper? Finally, what do you see as potential advantages to spending the time and getting familiar with the Beloved instead?
Fyi, I run enhanced sniper targeting and enhanced unflinching sniper aim.

Snapshot

Opening shot is really good, but being able to ADS really fast is more advantageous since you’ll be able to get aim your shot before your opponent.
-
Snapshot for sure, but good luck getting the curated roll lol. Im probably at a hundred hours of dreaming city patrol at this point and have never gotten it.

Snapshot

I don't know about console but on pc sliding and aiming pretty much grants nearly all weapons the ability to ads faster. that's why everyone is constantly sliding everywhere. I would do opening shot just stick to the angles and you'll be fine
-
Curated twilight is better than beloved if you have been using the supremacy. Snapshot > opening shot
-
The higher the range, the higher the aim assist
-
Snapshot easily for snipers
-
For PvP range isn't particularly important in my opinion on a sniper.
-
Bite of The Fox can roll Snapshot AND Opening Shot. I’ve never been lucky enough to get one but I do have one with Opening Shot and Accurized Rounds.
-
Opening shot is better. I have the same roll. Put a sprint grip on it, and you basically get snapshot.
-
Opening shot increases the headshot hitbox
-
i see allot of people using beloved over twilight oath, they have the same aim assist. I don't know how range effects sniper rifles, usually range translates into a more forgiving hitbox at further ranges but the snipers the hitboxes are small so , idk , with the handcannons the hitboxes are ridiculous, so getting a hc with range makes allot of sense, snipers idk if that is the case. idk if the curated roll will drop from menagerie, i played it over 150 time during the glitch , i never got a single curated roll of anything. If you wanted snapshot so bad, i'd say better off grinding for beloved because doing petra bounties is madness.
-
Can you even get the Curated TO from the menagerie?
-
i run the persuader with handling master work, snapshot sight, and moving target and target adjuster and works VERY well for me
-
Opening shot! Or both if possible like I have on my bite of the fox it’s really good!
-
My bite of the fix is the only sniper rifle that I am even halfway decent with and I feel that it is because of opening shot. It has that plus firmly planted. I have not mastered the quickscope, so I go with opening shot.
-
Opening Shot is trash
-
Try the box breathing roll with dragons shadow if you are a hunter. Or with ophidian aspect on a warlock. Solves the handling issues
-
Range boosts aim assist, but it always seems to be an insignificant amount. Snapshot is probably better. The real answer though, is to grind for Beloved. It's a lot better in my opinion.
-
I'd personally use opening shot for the better accuracy and just get a handling mw compensate a bit.
-
Check out the supremacy on my hunter. It’s fast af

Edited by Pizza and chill: 7/12/2019 4:52:35 PMI’ve never used this gun but I would go with: Fluted barrel, Accurized Rounds, Opening Shot Boxed Breathing, Handling MW Fluted + handling MW could negate the need for Snapshot. Accurized, opening, and boxed breathing can help with range. The curated roll seems like it would be good for going for double body shots though
