6 RepliesI would enjoy PvP about 50% more with just dedicated servers. I'm not sure how my closest opponent in Competitive is a clan in Australia... oh look laaaaaaaaaaaaaag. This games matchmaking system is awful lol.

There's no consistency in PvP. Play 1 match and you stomp the other team, play another straight away and you get stomped. Neither is really all that much fun tbh. And some player's connections render many matches unplayable because of lag (French, Italian and Spanish connections appear to be regular culprits) At the point now where I'm considering paying a rediculous amount of money for a gaming router with geo-filtering to increase the chance of matching with teams with decent connections. At least then I know I'm being beaten by superior ability rather than someone rubber banding everywhere and appearing to shoot opposition through walls. Comp is a much more fun experience than QP now as well because you tend to get matched to teams more closely matched to your current abilities. Unfortunately you hit that point where you just seem to be constantly beaten but I suppose that's where it forces you to evolve your playstyle or quit.

The child’s streams are the internal monologue of every .3 blueberry on my team. After the pathetic screaming and tears, they promptly jump on to the forums to beg for SBMM, player protection from stacks, and nerfs to pinnacle weapons.

2 Repliesi think the only time they should nerf something is if its broken... right now lord of wolfs isnt broken cus it can be countered and it has limits... same with the IKELOS shotgun i have no idea why they nerfed it as that was the point that it was a boss DPS weapon so you could run a sword with it or something.

16 RepliesDedicated servers could fix a lot of the issues for me honestly. This meta really doesn’t bother me besides LoW and HC recoil and bloom on console.... IB is still the worst PvP activity in D2. Prioritizing SBMM over CBMM so every lobby is a lag fest

1 ReplyPlaying Crucible, It's like your really constipated, yet you just got diarrhea suddenly. It wants to be excreted like the filth it is, but it's being clogged up. As you sit in total despair on your porcelain throne you pray that when it finally comes lose it doesn't paint the room in a sea of brown. All jokes aside though, It gets tiresome when your constantly getting one-hit-killed over and over again, some times even while your in your super. Crucible can be enjoyable some times but because you almost need a team of Meta-using players to win half the time, it usually feels stagnant and more of a chore. There is no variety in pvp-load-outs each match will almost always have the same kind of players, with one of a few loadouts. As of now it seems Yotun, Shotguns, Snipers, and high-rpm-hand-cannons are the most prevalent. I almost never see Sidearms or grenade-launchers in pvp. Crucible is so predictable whether winning or losing that when some one actually kills me with a non-meta weapon I am overjoyed just because it wasn't a shotgun or a Jotun. LoL.

4 RepliesI wouldnt mind the awful matchmaking sometimes if I was constantly losing comp matches when people drop out and still loose glory rank. When its 4 to 2 and you still loose glory. come on

8 RepliesPvp would be great if they toned down the supers and heavy until the last couple minutes of the match. I don’t play as much as I would like to because of this. The gunplay and movement is great, tho. It’s a great game with just a handful of poor dev decisions murking it up.
