Just add this one feature in Competitive and I'll be eternally thankful
Look it's really annoying to be a good player at the game and the round is going good and suddenly a person leaves your team, your fate is sealed and you will lose regardless of how well you played and you will lose the full 60-80 points. A simple fix is just make it that so if a person leaves your team and you lose, you do not lose any points but do not gain points either. This simple addition to competitive will fix the connection aspect of ranking up and will allow players to come back instead of being turned away after one bad match. While you're at it, please increase the amount of points gotten after a win and decrease the loss of points lost. Winning should always grant more points than losing takes away. Have a win be 80 flat, and a loss be 30. Therefore, losing impacts the player but is not detrimental to them. Now, instead of you never getting a chance to acquire a Pinnacle Weapon, you simply have to put in the time.

Agree 100% Losing points because someone leaves a match on your team, whether intentionally or not, is a huge flaw. I like the idea of the points differential between wins and losses as well. 3 losses in a row see a net loss from your last win. A 3 strikes you're out idea. Would be nice if you couldn't fall below a main rank too, sub ranks sure but not mains. Have that be a checkpoint of sorts. A proper matchmaking system would be nice as well but we've been barking up that tree since D1... I really like what they've done with the Revoker pinnacle quest requiring a cumulative amount of glory rather than a rank requirement. The better you are the faster you'll do this but everyone has the opportunity to grind this out. Would be nice to see past quests updated to this format.
