Controversial Opinion #1:
I’m throwing up at the moment, so go easy on me y’all. I’m not entirely coherent.

Now I’m not saying all of it’s fantastic, in fact much of is pretty bad. However, there are some good ones. Galway Girl by Ed Sheeran is hecking catchy.

I suppose at a very high level you're right, but I'd disagree. Sure, something can sound good, but I take content very seriously and pop music fails at this 9 times out of 10. It's so empty, uninteresting and meaningless. It's criminal how a band who created a 40 minute multi-song suite about mental illness are swept under a rug while someone just talking about sex is glorified as a great artist. It's beyond me

Honestly I dig Ed Sheeran. Like he’s embraces that type of sound and goes with it. Obviously his vocal methods aren’t very good, but he succeeds at what he’s trying to do.

I agree with this, everyone has their tastes and not all songs are terrible (you just kinda have to sift through all the garbage to find it).
