As a hunter main, ya know, the low health agile class, I've noticed that for some reason... Titans are more "hunter" than hunters.
What I mean is that Titans are faster than hunters, so much so that as a 10 mobility hunter, I am being out run by a titan, and that's with them sprinting normally... Titan skating is an issue that makes this so much worse.
So right now hunters are just the low health class with triple jump.
what gives???
Additionally, why can a titan's shoulder charge 1 hit someone AND why is it better at dodging attacks than an ACTUAL HUNTER DODGE
No Hunter class ability (including Combination Blow) can 1 shot another guardian
during shoulder charge, titans move faster than a hunter dodge AND have a damage resistance buff AND they get it back if they don't hit anything.
Also Titans and warlocks have better survive-ability while activating their class abilities than hunters do, when in reality it should be reversed, Titans and warlocks should be vulnerable while activating, but protected after it is up (rift or shield I mean), while hunters should be safer while dodging but vulnerable afterwards.
Honestly I would be content with a Hunter speed buff to make them the fastest class again, possibly adding a speed buff to their in air movement while jumping (because hunter jump actually slows hunters) and a rework of their dodge.
Because if I can MOVE LIKE THE MOST AGILE CLASS... I can live with titans being really strong, because at least i know that i will actually be able to escape him... this time.

That's nice. Take away shoulder charge and make Titans even worse in PVP. Why do you think almost every Titan is wearing one eyed mask? Titan supers aren't even that good compared to hunters anyway. You hunters have a huge attack speed advantage with ark staff, and oh S**t blade barrage super to cover your a** from getting killed by other supers and an attack spamming shadow blades that seems like you never run out of energy. Titans mostly have bottom tree ark to prevent us from dying in the super and making it longer. And hammers have horrible hit registration.

That's actually funny. Hunters were never the "speedy" class. You said it yourself, Hunters are the agile class. Agility does not equal speed. Hunters have unparalled vertical and horizontal manueverability. No other class has an instant "GTFO" ability. Titans and Warlocks have to stand almost completely still to make use of their abilities, while Hunters can maintain uninterrupted movement. That is a ridiculously huge advantage that can not be understated. That's not even mentioning some of the insanely good Exotics that buff the dodge that basically give Hunters better survivability than a Titan Barricade and Warlock Rift combined.

Regarding one hit kills: If one considers lore and the base differences between classes, it would only make sense that the titans have a one hit kill ability. They are supposed to be the strong ones. Warlocks are smart and use space magic. Hunters are quick and use gadgets. Titans are strong and use brute strength. Now, if you want to avoid being shoulder charged, fusions and shot guns work just fine. On top of that, since it's an ability, a hunter smoke grenade can disable it. Anything that disables abilities will disable shoulder charge. Nothing should be without a counter. That's how it should be. Not just a game of buff this, nerf that. Just give each class the means to counter each other.

In what universe does my squatting on the ground for a solid second plopping down a rift not constitute a vulnerability using my class ability. Have your gripe with Titans all you like and kindly leave warlocks out of this, cause your example is just objectively false
-
Hunters are by far the fastest with stompees, even with strafe jump. You can outrun nova warp, spectral blade, and striker titans.
-
The hunter jumps are def the best movement option. No other class can change direction mid air with as much ease.
-
All posts below..... Titan mains..... "Dont ruin our easy mode class please"
-
Titans are hilariously overpowered and no one seems to care. Has a constant one hit ability. Can shut down any super in the game( so can hunters and warlocks with bb and nova) and one eyed mask is unbelievably broken it’s not even funny but again no one seems to care

Imagine asking for a buff to hunters in 2019

I thought Titan skating was on pc only? And I disagree there, yes titans are hard to hit if they throw a wall up, but Gamblers dodge? That’s too dirty, especially if you can dodge to cover. I play Hunter because they look awesome and have my favorite lore. But even my garbage abilities in PvP are helped by Hunter. We don’t need a ohko melee because that’s not what Hunters are.
-
Lol you are high, hunters move way too fast, stop complaining
-
Rather than hunters getting a buff, I'd rather see that titan speed get reigned back in a bit. They can abuse that speed burst from their initial second of their jump for ridiculous feats. I also want the damned striker tree nerfed that makes pre-nerf spectral blades(which took a damned exotic to use btw) look like trash. No exotic needed for those titans but no, that's okay. Long as spectral becomes the new post-nerf arc blade. Which it has. I know player numbers can indicate something is powerful, but reliability doesn't always equate to power. For instance, the reason some things in R6S are in such a sorry state is because Ubisoft balances Operators and weapons based mostly on pick rate. Not the worst metric, but doesn't tell the whole story either.

Warlocks have better survivability while activating their class ability? Because standing completely still while your slow ass rift animation plays out is better than an instant "GTFO" roll?? A warlock on a rift is just an idiot with a glowing target on his head. Double goes for Well of Radiance. You can't survive dick in PvP with these rifts.

Hunters are op just go to competitive
-
If you're talking crucible statistically last time i check Hunters was on the top of the food chain, titans was 2nd and Warlocks 3rd the classes that merit any kinds of buff would be Warlocks and Titans that's why Bungo decided to give you back kehpris sting and made it trash then giving Titans back the Peregrin greaves with the same effect and Warlocks Astrocyte verse with a totally different effect (buff) to show you which classes are deserving of a buff
-
I vote for the first Hunter OHK ability to be Tempest Strike. It’s basically shoulder charge, and if anything, it’s harder cause you have to press an extra button before you use it.

Mobility doesn’t increase sprint speed. No class is inherently faster than the other if we’re talking about sprint speed. All of the classes base have the same health (armor), recovery, and mobility: zero in all. You have to opt in to those stats if you want them. The other classes are faster when skating but their jumps are inherently more difficult to maneuver outside of a straight line. Additionally, their jumps leave them quite vulnerable frequently. Hunters are the most maneuverable and forgiving class with excellent jumps and dodges. Hunters may not have the best grenades or melees but they still have decent options. Smokes are spectacular, probably among the best melees in the game. Arcbolt, Swarm, and Skip grenades are still better than most. What Hunters lack in raw ability strength, they make up for with what is almost inarguably the best neutral game. Flawless execution, Marksman and Gambler’s dodge, Focused Breathing, Invisibility, Chains of Woe etc. Hunter supers are incredibly potent. Arc Staff and Spectral can beat out most roaming supers if you play your cards right and Blade Barrage And Golden Gun have some decent usages too. Rift and Barricade are good but they aren’t nearly as versatile and universally useful as dodge. Dodge can be used offensively to break an enemies ankles or defensively to reposition, reload and prepare for another engagement. And Rift and Barricade have cast times. They are more vulnerable when casting their ability.

While you're not wrong that titans are very strong in pvp, a nerf would only make us even more useless anywhere else. The things we have that we can utilize in pvp ARE THE ONLY THINGS WE HAVE. In every other aspect of the game we are human garbage. Let us have this and quit whining
-
Agility =/= Speed Titans are faster in a straight line. That's it. And the Titan that outran you with your 10 Mobility was probably using Dunemarchers and/or a Lightweight gun, both of which increase sprint speed more than Mobility stat.
-
How is this conversation still a thing? Agility in this game isn't equal to sprint speed. Your whole post is pointless
-
Titans are just all around OP ...
-
Warlocks can skate with burst glide, so Hunters end up being the slowest class out of the three.
-
Everyone saying this is wrong are titans mains that don’t want their sweet easy power taken away
-
Edited by AStah-: 6/29/2019 4:56:28 AMIt's 2019 and Hunters are still whining about things they have no idea about
-
Amazing, every word you just said was wrong. I do hope in the future bungie leans into class separation more (and maybe more than 3 classes). I just hope this mmorpg thing means crazy skill trees eventually with more unique skills. I want to see flashy crazy stuff like a warlock like chaos reach that is a beam of fire that looks like a long reaching dragon. Let my hunter turn invis with a knife and ignore overshields completely dealing obscene damage. I would love to see a titan straight up walk up to a Knight and toss it like a bag of potatoes. Go for broke.

Hunters are quick Titans are fast
