(Back with Group 2 as they face off against Braxus, the King of the castle and a divine on the 11th level floor within the singularity. The 3 players in the group to stand up against this mighty figure first are Jay, Worm, and StoneFlare. The others in the group hang back and wait for a moment to jump in either to save a teammate or find a clear opening to attack.) Braxus: *starts to take a step down the stairs, slowly lifting his sword and shield as he prepares for battle*. "Don't disappoint me little children, I've waited a long time for something like this to come my way." Worm: *looks to Jay*. "Now! Activate torrential tribute!" (Activating both of their mystical art abilities shown by red rings of magic on their wrists, Jay and Worm combo their power to create a massive red ring of magic in front of them. Storming out of the ring at high speeds is a large cyclone infused with bursts of lightning and water, headed straight for Braxus. Taking the full force of the cyclone, Braxus is unphased by the rushing wind and lightning. Jumping right off the steps right through the cyclone, Braxus brings his sword down upon Worm with a heavy downward thrust, attempting to kill him in one hit. Thankfully to save Worm's life, Jay is quick to react and blocks the downward thrust of the large sword with his own SoulEater sword.) Jay: *struggling to stand up against the strength of Braxus*. "Damnit Worm! Help me!" Worm: "Give me a second!" (Before Worm can conjure up another spell, Braxus gives zero openings and smacks Jay with extreme force with his left handed shield, sending Jay tumbling across the ground. Looking straight to Worm after the attack on Jay, Braxus charges forth with all his might and bashes his shield into Worm's face, stunning Worm for a few seconds. Joining in to the battle to save Worm from what can only appear to be an upcoming visceral attack, StoneFlare ignites his arms with a blue tinted red fire and shoots out a continuous beam of flames at Braxus.) Braxus: *turns his head and looks at Stone menacingly through the flames*. "Fire? What is this petty garbage you seek to damage me with?" StoneFlare: *shivers in fear at the sight of Braxus's eyes gazed towards him*. "Uh...." (Coming up from behind Braxus while his attention is on Stone and Worm, Jay impales his sword through Braxus's leg and pulls the blade out by slicing through the tendons.) Braxus: *looks down to his leg with just one of his eyes, feeling no affect from the wound*. "Grrr!" (Swiftly turning around, Braxus catches Jay unexpectedly as Jay was trying to go for another attack. Parrying Jay's sword, Braxus impales Jay right through his stomach with a devastating visceral attack. Removing his sword and kicking Jay to the ground, Braxus's body begins to glow with a dark red color and his eyes turn pitch black, entering devour mode. As he enters this new state, his leg wound completely heals and his mind becomes fueled with bloodlust.) (Before Jay can receive a finishing blow, Worm jumps in and saves him, pulling him out of the situation and lifting his hand to activate mirror wall, blocking Braxus's sword.) Worm: *jumps out and begins healing Jay's wound*. "You good?" Jay: *pushes Worm aside, standing back up and griping his sword*. "I'm not done!" Braxus: *lifts his sword into the air*. "Then perish from existence!" (As Braxus lifts his sword above him, the blade of the weapon begins to glow bright with light from the moon. Forming above the tip of the sword, a massive moon begins to appear in reality and crack with a white light from within. As the moon's light grows to an unbearable amount, the ground in the surrounding area begins to crack as well like an earthquake.) Worm: *realizes the inevitable*. "Shit! Everyone prepare for an attack!" (Unable to do anything to prevent the attack from going off, the entire castle within the 11th floor explodes into a massive pillar of white light that reaches the clouds in the sky, devouring everything in the surrounding area of the castle as well.) Braxus: *devour mode dissipates as he looks around at all the rubble*. "Curious if any of those weaklings managed to survive...." Virus: *climbs up from under the rubble, unharmed*. "Heh...." (Thankfully, a miracle has occurred and no one in team has died. But, BatPug, Stone, Acro, Crate, have suffered fatal wounds and need medical treatment soon.) Worm: *climbs up from the rubble with Jay, surrounded by an orb of energy as he and Jay used their combining power to make a barrier*. "Tsk, what an attack..." Braxus: *readies himself once more*. "My castle means nothing to me, I am my own throne and I cannot be unseated. All those within my kingdom will die from my power, friendly or not." Rex: *shakes his head in disgust*. "This dude just killed all of his allies, who even does that?" Jay: "Ugh, he truly is messed up in the head." Braxus: *points the edge of his blade to Worm*. "You, the healer and support. You will die a nasty death, you will die in the arms of those you care about, just as Diana did." Worm: *widens his eyes in shock*. "What.....did....you say?!" Braxus: "Heh, don't think I don't know who you are. Armityle was a dumbass but I enjoyed watching from the sidelines. It is a game of entertainment for us divine afterall, how you mourned for such a sweet girl was oh so touching." Worm: *clenches his fists in anger*. "Damn you!!" (In blind rage, Worm charges towards Braxus and manifests a large hammer into his hands with the power of the mystical arts. Bringing the hammer down, Braxus blocks the attack with his shield, laughing at the same time as Worm attacks him. Letting go of his hammer, Worm charges his hands up with red lightning and summons a storm of lightning strikes down upon Braxus from the sky. Taking all of the attacks without even flinching, Braxus throws his shield and strikes Worm directly in the neck.) Worm: *coughing and panting*. "Huff... I've still got more juice in me." Jay: "Worm! Back off while you still can!" Worm: *looks back to Jay*. "No! I'm not letting this asshole get away with what he said!" (Glaring back to Braxus, Worm raises his hands and puts them together to form a triangle shape with his fingers. Breathing deeply, Worm activates his downside ability and everything in reality in now backwards.) Braxus: *looks up to see the ground and rubble where the sky should be*. "Well, just from one look I can tell where this is going. This might work on someone with low experience in battle but not someone like me." Worm: "Gah! Shut up and die already!" (Chaining his lightning within the hands, Worm shoots out a large beam of lightning towards Braxus. From what appears to come from the front, Braxus gets hit in the back by the attack instead.) Braxus: *chuckles in annoyance*. "Listen kid, you have no clue where exactly you are or who you're dealing with. Now I'm not talking about just myself here, but all the others you seek to challenge too...." (Increasing his speed and power levels, Braxus teleports in the blink of an eye and appears beside Worm, shield back in his hand already. Slashing Worm's body repeatedly with his sword, already understanding Worm's illusion affect and using it against him. Too fast to counter or do anything against, Worm is left defenseless as he suffers from the sword assault.) Worm: *falls down and deactivates his downside ability, returning things to normal*. "...." Jay: *watching from a distance, unable to find a way to save Worm*. "..." Braxus: *picks up Worm by his throat and slices his neck open, tossing him over in front of Jay*. "Like I said, he will die with his friends looking down at him as he takes his last breath." Jay: *kneels down over Worm and drops his sword*. "Worm...." Worm: *looking up at Jay, coughing and choking from his sliced open throat*. "....J..a..." Jay: *grabs his sword, closing his eyes and activating its soul eating ability*. "I won't let you die, I will save you...." (Stabbing himself in the stomach with his own sword, Jay removes half of his own soul and a healing mist begins to leak out from Jay's body, keeping Worm alive and closing the neck wound.) Worm: *unconscious as he rests from his wounds being healed*. "...." Jay: *glares up at Braxus, slowly standing up, trying not to fall down from the affects of his sword*. "I'm going to make you suffer..." Braxus: "Hmph, big words. I hope you can back them up when you can barely keep your footing." Rex: *draws his great sword off his back*. "He's not the only one that wants a piece of this action. I've been waiting long enough." Braxus: "Hahah! So much incompetence from all of you! You cannot achieve victory against me, I am one of the strongest....." Jay: *cracks his neck*. "I'll settle for a tie if it means your death is involved." Braxus: "Hm, I hope you have a hidden ability up your sleeve. We shall see." (End of Part 5)
