Perhaps no nerf to the gun itself is necessary if it simply requires heavy ammo. What do you think?

Lord of Wolves isn't strong enough to be a heavy If it was as strong as I dunno a 750 acrius then maybe But it isn't

Edited by Angelus-B-: 6/25/2019 2:43:28 AMNot really came across it in many matches, though Jotunn definitely needs to be moved into heavy slot, it's a crutch for too many skilless twats.

I’ve got a better idea how about bungie bands all exotics from competitive play and restricts it to pve content only so the rest of us players don’t have to put up with this bull
-
I wish pvp was just a side note for this game.. so stuff would not be nerfed based on pvp players crying. I never touch pvp unless forced to by a quest?
Or unless I just want to mess around..
Edited by lCertifiedl: 6/25/2019 9:57:27 AMJust a thought, how about we stop balancing a whole loot based PvE game around a half arsed PvP mode where everyone just complains about everything they get killed by. Sick to death of all these nerf this and that threads, it's verging on pathetic at this point. You are never getting a balanced PvP unless they seperate the modes or go back to 2 primary system, again ruins PvE.
-
I think this game's PVP will never be balanced Which means you need to put up with weapons like Lord Of Wolves, and be willing to play with things that are direct counters.
-
I've played quite a bit of IB and got killed by LoW maybe twice. Granted, I'm a console player. Still, this seems overblown. I would 100% run Beloved over LoW (sniped a handful of LoW users with it). I think you just need to play smarter and position.

It wont change anything, we still have a one shot kill problem in crucible. Shotguns still roam free and snipers camping at the edges of the map, crucible has become nothing but one shots and ability spam. I hate to admit it but I actually miss the old crucible when we had to use 2 primary weapons. At least submachine guns were viable, auto rifles were awesome, scouts actually had a place in crucible, swords were actually really fun to use. As soon as specials came into the primary and secondary slot the skill ceiling dropped dramatically. The only primary weapons worth using are hand cannons since they have the lowest ttk out of all primaries, I miss engaging other players with my primary and actually using teamwork to succeed. Everyone here just wants to run around without thinking and spamming shotguns and think they have skill when they get 2-3 kills.
-
I think you are *Insert insult that would probably get me banned*.
-
It's only a problem on pc. I play console and out of my 80 IB games on my hunter I encountered it in 2 games.
-
I would prefer that not to happen
-
Since when has lord of wolves been an issue? Or even been worthy of me reacquiring from collections? Seems like people don’t have enough real world shit happening in their lives to just enjoy a couple hours of gaming without complaining about it.

#satire ?

Put all shotguns, sniper rifles, and fusion rifles in the heavy slot. Problem solved all the way around. Don't just do it to one gun that is available for everyone to get and have. Also if sounds like it's more of a problem on pc than anything.
-
I'd rather they just nerf the range. It's not used at range in pve anyway.

Edited by l09047: 6/24/2019 11:20:58 PMi agree put all special back into the heavy slot. When you make a new character hawthorne gives you a shotgun , WHERE IS THE SHOTGUN ? ( i know it was in the power slot and bungo moved it out but didnt change the animatin cinematic. It lets you know what a piss poor game this really is )
-
What do you think?
Nope.
Perhaps no nerf to the gun itself is necessary if it simply requires heavy ammo. What do you think?
I think it’s fine how it is. It probably worse on PC, but they don’t have to deal with stability on weapons so....
-
I think nerfing the exotic perk and keeping it in special is the best bet imo,not sure if many would want to swap a rocket launcher or machine gun for a shotgun However I see what you mean
-
No go away and play Pokemon
-
Then pve players will get affected by this change, for no reason at all when it is a problem in pvp only. All Bungie has to do is either reduce the damage of release the wolves perk in pvp ONLY, or change it back to how it originally was where you need a kill in order to proc the release the wolves perk. Problem solved

u know, this would actually be good, bump for support, it can take down supers easily much like any other heavy, yea id dig this change
-
I have gotten killed by it ~3 times. and I SUCK at PvP.
