My experience in Crown of Sorrows thus far has been pretty awesome. As a Triumph seeker (humble brag) I wanted to think of ways to simplify phase 2 of the Gahlran boss fight.
I've noticed that the biggest struggle, besides crystals being a bit buggy at times, is successfully landing a coordinated melee to drop Mini G's shield. On my Hunter I could jump around, but even at 749 power level I would still get instagibbed by his cleavers if I made an error.
Bubble is the way! At first I thought bubble with Saint 14 could blind Mini G, allowing a simple melee combo. However for some reason none of the mobs at this checkpoint are affected by Saint 14's blinding perk.
Could this be a bug? Either way bubble does allow you to take significant damage from Mini G and provides orb regen from enemy fire. Could this be a new strategy? 3 Bubble Titans, 3 Warlocks for a flawless run? This could provide safety nets and make this encounter much more forgivable. What are your thoughts Guardians?
P.S. I tried blinding other ultras in public events as well as lost sectors and Saint 14 worked just fine. Not sure what's up with CoS.

It’s not a new strat, but nice thinking 👍 We ran it with 3 bubbles, 2 nighthawks and just the one well earlier today. Worked like a charm 😊
