Hello Bungie,
In light of the recent ViDoc, thank you very much. The future of the franchise, as well as the studio, is looking brighter than ever. I could gather that many people, across platforms, are very happy with the upcoming changes. There is one issue that continues to be a problem and will remain problematic to your return as a company if not addressed. That is Social Media interaction across all platforms.
Now that you've become your own publisher, there is an amount of rehabilitation you'll need to do in order to bring back a big portion of the player base that still wants to play, but won't because they don't understand what's happening. As a player, I can tell you that there are a number of ex-players trying to hang on to the game they loved once. More than once have I read posts on other social media platforms that continually mislead other people, creating a ridiculous spiral of misinformation, essentially hurting your product and your financial return on the long run. Let's be honest, your days of letting things be idle should be gone, simply because you can't afford a bad rep anymore. All eyes are on you now and as the ViDoc suggests, you want to be the developer that supports the community as a whole. I believe you do, truly.
As a final remark, I would like to suggest keeping a tight grip on all social media platforms, especially after announcements such as Shadowkeep. This will further exemplify how much you care for the community. People are always finding reasons to love something, and Destiny has plenty to love. Make it easier for people by providing clarity. All it takes is one comprehensive post to answer the questions most people are asking right now. Remember, it's time for Bungie to show the world how they conduct themselves without Activision.
Sincerely,
A passionate player...
