As is mostly detailed in the linked thread... I have not once received a single response or assistance with any issue I've ever tried to reach out for help... Not in the forums here, not from @bungieHelp on twitter, and not on reddit either. The one time I tried to submit a ticket I was basically told that it was not the right department and it was closed without any attempt to direct me to someone that could properly assist. I've invested so much time and money on Bungie over the years... over a decade... only to be completely ignored whenever I have an issue... whether it involves an account or a technical issue that appears to be on the development end. I cannot keep justifying buying Bungie products in the future if I know full well at this point that I will never receive any customer support when I encounter a problem. I like to think I'm pretty understanding, at least to a point, but everyone has their limits. After years of being ignored I'm reaching mine. I want so much to believe that you guys can and are better than this, but at this point I feel like I'm just lying to myself.
I predict just like every other thread I've made, this one will also fall on deaf ears, be completely ignored, and be downvoted into oblivion by other users if anything.

Edited by ADragonWithin: 6/9/2019 9:05:09 AMYou have several questions in your posts and have hidden them quite well in your feedback, discussion, and story, which makes the questions a bit hard to find, and one of your questions isn't actually a question and is instead a feedback/complaint/problem about how something is working. You also didn't post in the help section and instead posted in the Destiny forums meant for discussion and the like by the general player population. So, combing the fact that your post looks like a discussion and not a help request thread and that you posted somewhere other than the help forum, it's very likely that someone that could assist you didn't get eyes on your thread. I cannot speak for the nonreplies in tweets and the like, but I can say that if you worded them in such a way as to appear more like feedback than a question, that could lead to nonreplies from the Help twitter, as generally, feedback or feature requests aren't help requests. Sadly, I cannot find your initial posts to help them directly, as you have purposefully changed your Bungie settings to disable viewing your post history, so I will do my best to answer the one thread you linked. - Your first issue (since you didn't ask it as a question) seems to be a complaint or misconception about your Taken King Collector's Edition license not transferring from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One. So, to discuss that issue, I'll note that the only licenses that transferred for free at any point were Destiny (the base game, and only if you purchased it digitally during a certain window of time), The Dark Below DLC, and House of Wolves DLC. The Taken King license never transferred for free, nor did any collector's edition content license for any version of Destiny. Your save data, however, did transfer over, thus why you still had the items on your characters. Concerning that issue, there is nothing to resolve; sadly, your licenses were not part of the free upgrade license transfer from Xbox 360 to Xbox One, and that content is no longer available to purchase. Because the content is no longer available to purchase directly, those items will forever be locked and unusable on your Xbox One version of Destiny without purchasing the upgrade. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/destiny-the-taken-king-digital-collectors-edition-upgrade/bxk1swf19tc3 - Next, concerning your microphone issue on PC. Are you on Windows 10 or a different version? If you're on Windows 10, after Microsoft did the update that changed the default behavior of what programs and apps can access your microphone, did you go into your settings and change it back so that all apps can access your microphone? If you are or aren't on Windows 10, what other troubleshooting steps have you taken in order to try and get your microphone to work? Have you gone into your sound settings and disabled/enabled Exclusive mode? Have you tried deleting your cvars file to see if that fixes the issue? Have you tried scanning/repairing? Have you tried uninstalling Destiny 2 completely and reinstalling? What, exactly, have you tried to do to fix your issue outside of trying multiple microphones? The fact that multiple different microphones don't work but they work in other software you use makes it sound like a specific Windows setting is pointedly blocking Destiny 2 from using your microphone, or that you have a setting in Destiny 2 that is keeping you from using your microphone (such as having it muted or disabled in settings), or that your installation of Destiny 2 is faulty and needs to be repaired or reinstalled. - Lastly, just to make sure you understand, since you mentioned the recent information dump stream we had about changes coming to Destiny, it should be noted that Cross-save is just that, cross-save; your characters will be available on other platforms. Much the same as your initial problem with The Taken King Collector's Edition content, licenses will not be transferring between platforms. I just want to point out this bit because you mentioned the ViDoc while also having the aforementioned issue.

Edited by magis123: 6/9/2019 8:13:08 AM
I'm a 33 year old gamer ...Pong, to Mario, to Diablo, to Final Fantasy XI, to Destiny...
None of this had much to do with your post although you cannot compare this game (a live services game) to any of the aforementioned games in that post. You do not pay a monthly fee like you do with WoW so you cannot expect the same level of CS that you would get there.
I want to point out at this point that I have been a fan and customer of Bungie ... that there are some rather negative emotions evoked.
It doesn't matter HOW much money you spend on their products, you receive the same level of support that anyone else does. You are not special because you spend more money, you just are spending more money. There is not anything in any of those purchases that says 'gets better support'; this is poor consumerism if I've ever seen it.
I originally pre-purchased and played Destiny on the Xbox360, and purchased every expansion for it (including the Taken King collectors edition, this is important to note) up to Rise of Iron. Now, it turns out I fell for a bad troll and was led to believe that cross save ...is a resounding no.
Ok let's get this out of the way. You were never lead to believe that cross saves, free upgrades or anything were a thing because they never EVER mentioned that anywhere in ANYTHING they have ever published. If you mistakenly got this in your head, that was your fault and not any faulty advertising on their part. This is a BUYER BEWARE and read before you purchase problem.
When I finished installing, updating and did the account import
I'm going to stop this run on paragraph there. The account imports had to be done by a specific date (it escapes my mind but it was within 2 months of the launch of Rise of Iron) or they cut off previous gen to current gen cross save capability. The old consoles are dead and they had given plenty of opportunity at that point for you to upgrade.
I have in recent weeks been reaching out on the help forums again because my in game voice does not seem to work on PC.
This has to do with the way your microphone is setup in the Windows Sound Control panel especially if you are on Windows 7 (not sure which version you are on) but there are specific things you have to do to get it to work in Destiny 2. Mine works fine across all systems and that means it is a machine/OS install problem NOT a D2 problem.
I really hope that Bungie also has plans to expand the support team in the future as well so that players such as myself don't end up going through the same situations.
They won't be. Again we do not pay a monthly fee for this so paying for a dedicated support team would require this. Support is handled primarily by other players here in the #HELP forum because of the love of the game. There are a few BNGHLP people floating about but they are few and far between. Bungie supports through community support not through dedicated support to save that cost and put it back into the game. So long story short, guardian a lot of what you posted is your own misunderstanding of how a Live Services game works. I'm sorry to say this.

First off, upvoting/downvoting has NOTHING to do with anything in the #HELP forums I am so tired of hearing people complain about my post not getting upvoted or it gets downvoted. Secondly, you didn't get a response because you posted in #DESTINY which only has players in it. You aren't going to get a response there. Thirdly, dude you posted a book. Like LITERALLY a book. It will take me 10-15 minutes to read through and attempt to make a coherent thought out of it. You literally are jumping all around in your post and then replied to your own post and then replied to that reply. No one likes to read walls of text. I will read your post and then see what I have to add to it after reading through it.
