However you feel about it, roughly 12% of poll participants said they were fine with cores the way they were.
That’s a little more than the number of people who came in this thread and said they have enough.
So, instead of listening to most of us, Bungie listens to a fraction of us, decides cores are too easy to get and reduces the number of sources?
So, one of the arguments against removing cores is that all of us wanting them gone are somehow not representative of everyone, somehow, we’re not a valid sample size.
And yet, Bungie’s last implementation, which goes far beyond the pale of what they Last said they’d do, is based on a fraction of the sample size.
Pure, unadulterated hubris.

I have mixed feelings about seeing “this post is hidden” on my threads. On the one hand, I’ve avoided wasting my breath talking to a “never-anythinger”. On the other, I dislike having found a person actually worth muting.

Bungie does listen! I spoke and asked for infusion to be harder and cores less plentiful. I am glad they listen to the player base, infusion actually takes some semblance of skill now. Hopefully they continue on this path.

And the worse part of that is that the vast majority of people on these forums represent Destiny's most hard core fans. If the pro Enhancement Core argument doesn't have the majority on these forums, then they definitely don't have the majority amongst the while entire playerbase.

Why don’t they get how much we love the game?

Edited by Seraph: 6/5/2019 4:00:23 PMI don't know. Granted, I've stopped playing Destiny 2 because I'm not getting as much out of it as I was putting into it, so my vote probably doesn't cary much weight. But I continue to visit these forums because I've been here since the D1 Beta, I see enormous potential in the franchise, and I want it to live up to that potential. I am heavily invested ( emotionally ) in Destiny and I want to see it, and Bungie succeed.

Edited by SouLFeeS: 6/5/2019 3:50:27 PMAs do I on all counts. I stopped for the same reason, although likely more recently. I’m not a narcissist. I don’t need them to listen to me. However, if I’m speaking for people who won’t say anything, or have come to believe they are insignificant, and there are loads of others doing the same, saying exactly the same thing, then it’s fair to believe they’d take our feedback. Surely, at the very least, they would not move in the exact opposite direction.
