I was trying to find people to play with on the forum. But the Ladders (carry recovery players) were spamming the crucible feed. So I find it hard to get people to join when theirs are so many spammers. I decide to create a bunch of fireteams with sayings like “play for free” and “Luna’s and NF are getting nerfed anyway.” Noted: I’ve done this sort of thing before, where I’d write something funny to diversify the feed a little. Mainly Just to find people to play with and have fun, which is what I was doing. All of the sudden this profile named [spoiler][REDACTED][/spoiler] writes in my DM’s “reported” for violating “code 302” so I searched Through bungie’s code of conduct and found nothing, looked through terms of service and found nothing, went online and found nothing. So I asked this profile if they were one of those gamers that makes money off of these carries? In short, the profile then tells me I was going to be “excommunicated from the community in 24 hours” this profile claimed to work for bungie. I wasn’t buying it and reported him for impersonating an employee. Could someone explain to me the following questions: 1)Is an employee allowed to DM me and say that I am reported? [spoiler]Probably not[/spoiler] 2)is it okay for me to post goofy things like “don’t pay for Luna’s Howl or NF because it’s getting nerfed” on fireteam search? [spoiler]Considering that people are saying “Pay for a cheap carry/recov!” ?[/spoiler] 3)what the heck is violation code 302 and how come people are desperate to troll in order to make money off of guns? [spoiler][REDACTED] is a troll and an impersonator. Don’t pay for skill to help you get guns that will be worthless next season[/spoiler] Please help. Thank you.
