Alright, i regret saying this stuff, but -blam- it
With all the drama going on I've decided to take matters into my owns hands to talk about my personal opinions and thoughts about the drama towards Bungie and its player base. In full retrospect I'm going to say this: Bungie did a happy mistake and I get that. But obviously all this toxicity is understandable and I can agree with it. But, that doesn't mean I have slight concerns for complaints that are imo mediocre and for some of us (well only me tbh probably) Don't really care for that much.
First thing I'll go over is the complaints for no new strikes. For my honest opinion, for the last 2 expansions, CoO and Warmind have hadn't had good strikes and are basically rehashed of missions with the exception of one of Warming's strikes. Forsaken didn't give us a lot of strikes but at least one of them had originality to it. Which leads me to say, Is there anything else Bungie can actually do??? Yes, there are exceptions to this such as a strike with the Mechanist in it and supposedly something else to go along with Y3 coming up. But I'm sure most people that have a sensible mind can agree that Forsaken probably topped strikes as for now till hopefully D3 if it'll ever happen. I get strikes add more to the game, but back in destiny 1 I was only interested in strikes specifically for the strike specific loot. Bungie hasn't really been doing that lately so that's my personal thought that strikes should tone down for a while. Ofc you can argue that the game gets boring with nothing new added to it but I'd rather prefer having time getting my characters light levels up then worry about new strikes.
Another complaint I found on these forums is complaints about armor designs looking too ugly and unappealing. Um, not to be that type of person, but back in Destiny 1 besides Eververse there were a lot of non purchasable armor that could be redeemed ugly or too overdesigned. I'm not going to say this person or these people whom played Destiny 1 are being hypocritical, GOD NO, saying that takes away from this forum post being serious and that's not the route I'm taking here. Armor such as the strike specific armor had armor that could be redeemed ugly in someone more terms like for example the Fallen SABER helm, sure it's awesome to some people but it also might not be appealing for most people. One stroke specific armor that could be redeemed ugly is the Mulok helm and or the Aluk hul helm. Both, while the Aluk helm is slightly more better, the Mulok helm imo was just ugly and didn't appeal to me the first time I tried it out :/ there's not a lot of armor from Destiny 1 that could be redeemed as ugly sense those were classics but imo I didn't favor the RoI armor you get from the book, sure you get the ordements to change them but without them they aren't too appealing.
To sum this up is complaints about the buffs and nerfs that have and are the reasons for this drama in the first place. While yes I do agree that buffing only swords and fusion rifles was a pretty dumb decision I can argue by personally saying that Swords haven't been very useful on the battlefield. With the way swords are for some reason, you can easily go through ammo before being able to take out more enemies with said sword to begin with. Fusion rifles are a hard argument to comback to sense they're a general used weapon throughout the game by most people, especially loaded question.
But there's one complaint that I can personally agree on everyone and that's fixing crucible. IDK if I just suck or it's because of the said matchmaking but I'm kind to believe that it has to do with the matchmaking. If Bungie were to fix this issue like make it where we have the ability to choose players that're within are rank and then later on we can choose to pick players of higher status and or difficulty. That'll make me want to do more competitive and not constantly want to throw my controller at something every time it would seem I couldn't get a single win in competitive.
