"Very cool. Nothing more important than the players."

https://twitter.com/DeeJ_BNG/status/1134131298149183494?s=19 So, upon seeing this Tweet, I felt a tiny bit of hope mixed in with the usual urge to vomit. For one thing, it's good to see that Bungie have hired someone who might have a much more... supportive point of view for the playerbase. Like they understand that, at the end of the day, this is the game that we play and it should be shaped and molded to fit our desires from it. We did pay a lot of money for it, after all. On the other hand, it makes me so frustrated to see DeeJ's reaction to this person's statement. It exudes the feeling that, after almost five years of this franchise, Bungie do not actually give a shit anymore. Granted, a huge amount of comments and feedback from people over the years have been some of the most foul and idiotic kinds of crud that mankind could ever think of, but now I feel like everyone, including those of us who actually care about the game and simply want it to be better, are now clumped together with the foul elements of this community and are regarded as such. To the new hire at Bungie who said that, do your best. Show these Grizzled Ancients that the Destiny community wants to be treated as such. We're tired of the mindless nerfing, the lack of real content or quality of life changes, the "stuff it, throw it in the bin and try again" mentality that Bungie have had for years and we just want a game that can appeal to everyone with compromising on anyone or anything.
TL;DR Version: DeeJ makes a stupid Tweet that makes it look like Bungie don't care about the players and that is not good because it is kinda true.
