Except you didn't bother reading your own quote did you? Bungie doesn't disagree with people calling it an mmo. Whoever spoke in the article even said as much and further went on to say yes we use mmo mechanics. So I'm not trying to be rude but how the hell do you interpret that as them saying its not an mmo LMAO

Which they have done since before launch, at launch, and ever since launch. You can look all over the internet and never find a time where a Bungie rep made an official statement and referred to Destiny as an MMO. You need to let go of this fantasy in your head, I’m trying to help you here.

He didn’t say they use MMO mechanics. He said “Like an MMO, our game will compel you to explore.” The games developers decide the label for the game, and they don’t label it a MMO. Some ignorant players call it that, but they are just ignorant. If you want to chose to remain ignorant that’s on you, but the information exists to educate yourself about what MMO actually means. There are jumping puzzles, is it a puzzle game? Is it a platformer?

Did you buy digital or hard copy? Hardcopy doesn't say mmo. Saids 1-6. A large amount of the game can be soloed excluding raids(yet some have soloed bosses) and pvp. Game has no mmo features. Not an mmo. You lose.
